A Wrap-Up Review Of Vibes Week #42
One of the entries that stood out for me was @officialdenkay’s “Spirit.” I enjoyed this performance so much. The vocals were incredible, and the way he maintained control throughout the song was simply amazing. I’ve listened to this song countless times before, but this particular rendition still intrigued me.
Another performance that really got me was an original gospel song composed by @bigsteff. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to download it into my device:) The melody was soothing, the lyrics were wholesome, and the entire song was very inspiring. I’ve been following his musical journey for a while now, and I can confidently say his creativity and growth are impressive. His music carries a message, one that lingers even after the song ends.
Then we have @tahram who came with an awesome rap filled with inspiring lyrics. His rhythm, confidence, and delivery made the performance enjoyable from the beginning to the very end. It’s always refreshing to see rap that carries meaning, and he nailed that balance perfectly. It's also my first time coming across his entry. Keep it up Tahram!

@benriffs also delivered a beautiful gospel song titled “Trust in You” by Fred Hammond. His calm delivery and heartfelt interpretation made it one of my favorites this week. It’s not easy to perform a song like that and still maintain sincerity in your tone, but he did it effortlessly. And that, is very impressive to me.
Generally, the energy of the competition this week felt calm but creative. The usual familiar faces brought their best as always, and some new participants added a nice touch of freshness to the mix. I noticed a perfect blend of rap, love songs, and gospel, each shining in its own way. But what stood out most was the noticeable improvement in the artists presentation. It’s beautiful to watch how they keep growing, both in skill and confidence. You can tell that even though they’re earning through their performances, they’re also learning, experimenting, and evolving and that’s something truly worth celebrating.

These are just a few of the entries I could highlight, even though I listened to many more that were just as good. I honestly do not have the full vibes to write about every single one but I can say this much: Week #42 was filled with passion, purpose, and progress.
As we move into Week #43, I’m hoping to see a theme return, something to challenge the artists and add a little spice to the competition.
Before I end this review, I would love to thank the amazing organizers and judges, @lordbutterfly, @verbal-d, @silentscreamer and everyone who works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep this competition running smoothly.
It’s not easy to remain consistent, excited, and authentic for this long, but you’ve done just that. Thank you for keeping the spirit of music alive in this community, and for allowing writers to share in the vibes. Your dedication has been a great inspiration to mee.
PS: You can always visit these artists to support them :)
