Hello everyone!
How are we all doing?
This is the progress of the information that was last shared in the Vibes community days ago about the vibes talent hunt.
As I alway do, permit me give a big shoutout to our lovely admin @lordbutterfly for considering this idea a beautiful one and also for the great works happening weekly in this prestigious community.
A big shoutout to @verbal-d, a person of great integrity, a brother in Christ and a reputable person that has through his dedication as a judge contributed to the growth of the community and also inspired many.
A special shoutout to @silentscreamer, a kind hearted person, a loving judge and a loving personality.

LATEST UPDATE ABOUT THE VENUE TO BE USED

Please follow this information closely

As of today, there's a new progress and update as regards the auditorium to be used for the contest.
In the earlier updates I made, I made mention that the auditorium to be used is my fellowship auditorium which was given to me freely because of my dedication over the years as the Choir coordinator.

As beautiful as this sounds, I felt it was not the best option.
I then held a discussion with my team.
I spoke with @Starstrings01 and @iyedrumz007 because I was really curious about their views.
They both said the fellowship auditorium is good but the campus auditorium will be better for wider visibility.

Many students loves to massively turn up for an event that happens inside the campus because it's believed that inside the campus is the safest for any form of social activities.
This made me take a bold step.

I made inquiries about the process it takes to secure an auditorium inside the campus for events, and it happens that the process is very long and time consuming.
What could I do than to carry on with the process?
Against all odds, our letter passed the necessary offices and got an approval on the 16th of January 2025.

After I got the approval of the letter, I proceeded with taking shots of the venue to be used.
I honestly have waited for a very long time to share with us the images of the venue to be used.
The auditorium we secured is known as the SUG Conference Hall (Student Union Conference hall) which is spacious and has a capacity of over 250 students.

Here's the Update about the Banner mounting

We have successfully mounted the eight banners at strategic points where there'll be wider visibility.
The activity took place in the night, as a result the image quality was poor.
I had to take some shots the next day for clearer image.

Registration of contestants to begin on the 18th of January.
So far, we have been able to collect a total of 90+ interested participants.
The goal of the Vibes talent hunt is to onboard as many as possible.

The number we have reached currently is encouraging.
However, we believe we'll still get more interested participants before the registration ends.

My team and I will try our possible best to keep the community posted with relevant updates
