"Crazy Train" - VIBES🎵 / WEB3 Music Competition Week 38 / (Bass cover)
I think that even those who are not fans of Rock or Metal heard about the death of Ozzy Osbourne, an iconic English singer and rock legend. This happened a few days ago and that news shocked the world, generating reactions from celebrities and prominent musicians of the music scene. I'm not going to lie to you, I always knew who Ozzy is, but I have never been a big fan of his music, I like only the most known songs which I treasure and listen to every now and then, however, I understand the influence and transcendence that Ozzy Osbourne had and has in modern Rock and Metal.
So, as a sort of tribute, today I'm sharing a bass cover of “Crazy Train” one of Ozzy's many hits. I chose this song because it has a very dynamic and distinctive bass, besides, I had already played this song many years ago with some friends to hang out and have fun. I should mention that this cover is a shortened version of the song, but you will hear the most important instrumental aspects.
To record this song I used the Cubase5 application, I also used the Moises application to remove the original bass line, so you will only hear the line I recorded. I hope my participation this week will be to everyone's liking, best regards!

That song has a great bass-line and you played it well. I have been playing some bass recently and as a guitar player I find it quite different. You need tough fingers for those big strings.

For guitarists it can always be strange to pick up a bass for the first time, but despite the thick strings and obvious differences, you'll soon get the hang of it.

Ciertamente es una línea de bajo y guitarra muy distintiva, cuesta escuchar algo parecido o de ese estilo, supongo que por ese motivo y por otros obvios (Ozzy), ésta canción perduró en el tiempo.

Unfortunately, the new generation seems to have no idea who he was. I asked some co-workers who are 24, and they didn't recognize his name at all. They claim to be hard rock listeners but don’t know a single one of his songs. What kind of new rock music are they listening to? 😂
