VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION - WEEK 37/ ‘PEACE IN THE VALLEY’ by Thomas Dorsey

Hi amazing people!
I posted my entry for almost a week now, but it was on the wrong community! Can you believe it! Shout out to @oluwadrey for calling my attention to it!

This is my entry for week 37. I absolutely loved the song I chose, it brought out a lot of my vocal qualities, especially at the end. I stumbled upon it while searching for gospel songs from the ‘30s to ‘40s. It was written by Thomas Dorsey, often known as the legendary gospel writer, in 1937. It has been sung by countless individuals since them. It tells of how much the Christian life is wrought with challenges, but we have our eyes set on our heavenly reward. Reward so great that every trial on earth feels so insignificant. Peace that can only be gained at the foot of the cross. Please sit back and enjoy, listen for the end especially. I pray it blesses your soul.
