~ 90s - Vibes Week 29: RIGHT HERE - SWV (cover) ~

Hey vibes community! This week, I'm excited to share my entry for the 90s theme. I've chosen a classic hit by SWV, titled "Right Here" (remix) - a song that I think is truly lovely.

So for this week's theme 90s, I picked the song by SWV, "Right Here" and it's a really lovely song. But what I love about this song is the remix, it's the one with Michael Jackson's "Human Nature". I'm like, wow, the way they blended their voices, SWV's harmonies with MJ's vocals, it's just... it's really beautiful, you know? And it just goes to show, 90s music was something special.

The song was a bit challenging for me to score, particularly in terms of getting the dynamics right. I had to keep practicing singing with the original artist, keep singing, keep practicing, and the more I practice, the more it felt like I wasn't getting it right. But I'm glad that after all the trials, I was able to get this take, and I just hope that you all enjoyed the entry.

I want to apologize if my entry seems a bit delayed, but I had to take my time to learn the song and score it well because I always strive to do my best and give out good covers. I'm working towards creating my own original music someday. For now, I'm glad I could submit this entry before the deadline on Wednesday.

By the way, I made a tiny tweak to the lyrics - I sang "vibes will be right here" instead of "love will be right here". I think it's a cool little spin.
