Judas Priest - Breaking the law - Vibes web3 mc week 25
Hello Hiveans and members of the #vibes community!
This is my entry for the Vibes web3 music competition - week 25.
The theme is the 80s and I've run a poll on Snaps to decide what genre should I play. And metal won!
The first song that came to my mind was exactly Breaking the law by Judas Priest, one of the most famous heavy metal songs from the 80s.
It's pretty fun to play and I've changed it a bit to make it sound more modern. The original version doesn't even have a guitar solo so I added one because yes! 🤘
Disclaimer: drums and bass are the original tracks. All the guitars and voice are mine and what you see played on the video are the actual live tracks that ended in the final result.

Yes, where it all began in the 60s with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. And the 80s brought a lot of metal bands on the scene, most of them have been forgotten today, but I know also a couple of forgotten gems
I often say that the late 60s were one of the most creative times in music. So many genres sprung up then, including metal. It's amazing how many of those musicians are still playing. I've seen a few of them live.

Not my most fav song of theirs as it's so overplayed, but you performed it so well!
In first place I was thinking to play The Hellion/Electric Eye but I choose Breakin the law because is more mainstream and not so heavy.
