My Beautiful Review~Vibes Week 32 Winners

I actually woke up this morning feeling kind of sore. Partially because I had lots of activities piled up for me over the past few days, and my body was finally catching up with the exhaustion. But despite the aches, I decided to dive into Hive just to see what was going on in the Blockchain. A quick scroll led me to the Vibes community, and it felt like the universe knew exactly what I needed when I saw that there was an update from the community admin on the Week 32 winners.

“At least something to keep me motivated,” I said to myself as I clicked through the post.

I went through each of the performances, beginning from the first place winner down to the sixth place. Everyone did well to bring something unique and beautiful to the table, but two entries honestly caught my attention in a very unique way. They were the fifth and sixth place performances. They didn’t just stand out because of their quality, but because of the way they spoke to something deep within me.

Allow me to begin with the fifth place performance by @davidbolu34 . I can maybe attribute my love for his performance to the guitar. If you’ve seen my last post on my blog, you’ll know it was all about my passion for the guitar. So you see why it was love at first sight or rather, love at first sound when I heard @davidbolu34’s performance.

Oh, how I love jazz. It’s got this refreshing, calming energy that washes over you like a cool evening breeze. It reminds me of sitting in a dimly lit karaoke bar with your partner by your side, having a drink in hand and just soaking in the ambiance as a live band plays jazz. It’s the kind of music that not only plays in the background but adds a beautiful feeling to it. Bolu’s performance was exactly that. I absolutely enjoyed how skillfully he played, and it warmed my heart even more to see that he was having fun while playing it. There’s something contagious about watching someone doing what they love.

The second performance that touched me deeply was that of @vocal.journey1 Oh, such a beautiful rendition! Her voice reminded me of one of my favorite gospel singers and that is Sinmidele. There’s something about this performance that feels like a refreshing sip of cold water when you’re so thirsty. It’s so smooth, soulful, and filled with so much emotion. Like a soothing balm that gently eases away pain and brings absolute peace.

I especially loved the way her voice resonated with the backup vocals. It was like they were meant to be together, giving such a perfect harmony. And the words of affirmation she spoke? Oh, it gave the performance even more depth. It wasn’t just a song; it was an experience, an actual moment of healing and reflection.

These two performances were everything I didn’t know I really needed today. Music surely has a way of speaking to the soul, and I’m so glad I found these great gems on the Hive blockchain today. They lifted my spirit in a very special way and reminded me why I keep showing up every single time.
