En este episodio de mi podcast, comparto mis ideas sobre cómo un artista puede optar por no adaptarse al gusto de los demás, siguiendo la línea de mi podcast anterior donde hablé sobre el compromiso con la autenticidad.

Además, profundizo en la idea de que un artista debe aportar valor y poner su arte y creatividad al servicio de la inspiración, a partir de su compromiso social.

Un artista debe ser un comprometido con sus valores y actuar en coherencia con lo que su arte proyecte. Es imposible ver el arte lejos de lo social, un artista siempre busca que su arte conecte con la sociedad, aunque puede haber ciertas indiferencias en algunos artistas, los cuales puede importarle menos la opinión social, pero cuando su arte toma cierto nivel, es decir impacta en una cantidad interesante de personas, es cuando más compromiso y determinación debe asumir en su arte.

Normalmente, cuando un artista busca agradar o adaptar su arte al gusto de los demás, su camino o propósito tiende a tambalear o desestabilizarse, porque el buscar esa adaptación a las preferencias ajenas, el artista suele perder claridad y su realidad se puede ver distorsionada, por conceptos externos.

El artista debe ser un estudioso constante, un aprendiz de su día a día y priorizar su gusto, su placer, su creatividad en pro de su bienestar, de eso hablo en este podcast.

También me planteo (y ya lo tengo en práctica), añadir en cada podcast un fragmento, ya sea un making music, de alguna de mis canciones, para mostrar ejemplos a través de mis creaciones, las cuales les tengo mucho cariño, de manera que también puedan conocer mi lado creativo.

Cada episodio de mi podcast busca orientar cada idea hacia el camino del desarrollo personal e integral. Desde mi perspectiva, que es primeramente artística, cultural y deportiva (aunque de esta última no he profundizado), todo mi podcast irá por estos ámbitos, ya es que parte de mi base para mi crecimiento y desarrollo personal.

Para mí, el arte y la cultura son prioridad sobre todo para el conocimiento y el aprendizaje constante, el conocimiento complementa las prácticas artísticas y gracias a ello, podemos fortalecer nuestras prácticas y habilidades artísticas, mientras más leamos, más conocimientos obtendremos y por lo tanto entenderemos mejor lo que hacemos. El arte suele ser muy exigente con nuestra creatividad, porque el arte es algo que nos potencia y además requiere siempre de adaptabilidad a nuevos conocimientos y experiencias que vamos adquiriendo, gracias a la demanda del arte con nosotros mismos, potenciamos nuestro ser.

Por eso motivo, el artista también tiende a ser integral, la mayoría de grandes artistas no solo fueron hábiles en una disciplina artísticas, los grandes referentes de la historia siempre han sido hábiles en mínimo dos mundos artísticos, porque el arte tiende a escalar de forma integral, un pintor siempre podrá ser impulsado hacia la música o la literatura, un bailarín tiende a experimentar el teatro, porque el arte nunca puede sentarse sólo, en todas las artes siempre hay integralidad. En un video musical, siempre hay literatura, teatro, baile, cine, etc. Gracias a la exigencia que el arte fomenta, el artista suele moverse por diversos ámbitos artísticos con la idea de potenciarse, más allá de su arte prioritario.

Es allí, donde los artistas suelen brillar por su autenticidad y compromiso.

In this episode of my podcast, I share my thoughts on how an artist can choose not to adapt to the tastes of others, following on from my previous podcast where I talked about commitment to authenticity.

I also explore the idea that an artist should contribute value and put their art and creativity at the service of inspiration, based on their social commitment.

An artist must be committed to their values and act in accordance with what their art projects. It is impossible to view art separately from society; an artist always seeks to connect their art with society. Although some artists may be indifferent and care less about social opinion, when their art reaches a certain level, that is, when it impacts a significant number of people, that is when they must assume greater commitment and determination in their art.

Normally, when an artist seeks to please or adapt their art to the tastes of others, their path or purpose tends to falter or become destabilized, because in seeking to adapt to the preferences of others, the artist often loses clarity and their reality can become distorted by external concepts.

The artist must be a constant scholar, a learner in their daily life, and prioritize their taste, their pleasure, and their creativity for the sake of their well-being. That's what I talk about in this podcast.

I also plan (and am already doing so) to add a snippet to each podcast, either a making-of clip or one of my songs, to showcase examples through my creations, which I am very fond of, so that listeners can also get to know my creative side.

Each episode of my podcast seeks to guide each idea towards the path of personal and comprehensive development. From my perspective, which is primarily artistic, cultural, and athletic (although I have not delved deeply into the latter), my entire podcast will cover these areas, as they form part of my foundation for personal growth and development.

For me, art and culture are a priority, above all for knowledge and constant learning. Knowledge complements artistic practices and, thanks to this, we can strengthen our artistic practices and skills. The more we read, the more knowledge we will gain and, therefore, the better we will understand what we do. Art tends to be very demanding on our creativity because art is something that empowers us and also requires us to constantly adapt to new knowledge and experiences that we acquire. Thanks to the demands that art places on us, we empower our being.

For this reason, artists also tend to be well-rounded. Most great artists were not only skilled in one artistic discipline; the great figures of history have always been skilled in at least two artistic worlds, because art tends to scale in an integrated way. A painter can always be drawn to music or literature, and a dancer tends to experiment with theater, because art can never stand alone. there is always comprehensiveness in all the arts. In a music video, there is always literature, theater, dance, cinema, etc. Thanks to the demands that art fosters, artists often move through various artistic fields with the idea of enhancing themselves beyond their primary art.

It is there that artists often shine for their authenticity and commitment.
