Hola amigos de esta bonita comunidad, espero estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Es mi primera vez publicando en esta comunidad, y hoy les traigo un post que me gustó muchísimo hacer y espero que a ustedes les guste tanto como a mí. Quise darle nueva vida a mis AirPods con un poco de arte al estilo de Vincent van Gogh.

Vincent van Gogh fue un pintor neerlandés, uno de los principales pintores exponentes del postimpresionismo. Es conocido por pintar las obras "los girasoles" y "la noche estrellada". Está última fue pintada mientras estaba internado en el sanatorio de forma voluntaria. Muchos creen que está obra refleja la vista que tenía el autor desde la ventana de dicha institución a la ciudad, aunque otros dicen que solo es una expresión de como se sentía el pintor al respecto de su situación.

It's my first time posting in this community, and today I bring you a post that I really enjoyed doing and I hope you like it as much as I do. I wanted to give new life to my AirPods with some Vincent van Gogh style art.

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch painter, one of the main exponents of post-impressionism. He is known for painting the works "The Sunflowers " and "The Starry Night ". The latter was painted while he was voluntarily committed to the sanatorium. Many believe that this work reflects the view that the author had from the window of the institution to the city, although others say it is only an expression of how the painter felt about his situation.

Está idea surgió porque la caja de mis AirPods estaba rallada y un poco deteriorada por el tiempo y el uso, además por ser blancos, se les notaba mucho su estado.

This idea came up because the case of my AirPods was scratched and a little deteriorated by time and use, also because they were white, their condition was very noticeable.

Soy partidaria de que el arte se encuentra en todos lados, solo tienes que estar despierto para apreciarlo y encontrarlo en cada rincón en dónde se esconda.

Sinceramente, no soy experta en artes ni nada por el estilo, solo lo hago por hobby, aunque tenía muchísimo tiempo sin pintar nada realmente, las musas tocaron a mi puerta con esta fantástica idea.

I believe that art is everywhere, you just have to be awake to appreciate it and find it in every corner where it hides.

Honestly, I'm not an art expert or anything like that, I just do it as a hobby, although I hadn't really painted anything for a long time, the muses knocked on my door with this fantastic idea.

Primero comencé a quitarle un poco lo sucio, utilice algodones y alcohol para hacerlo, y con cuidado empecé a remover lo que pude.

First I began to remove some of the dirt, using cotton swabs and alcohol to do so, and carefully began to remove what I could.

Para no dañar los AirPods, coloqué y corte cintas al ras de cada orificio, para poder pintar con más libertad en ellos.

To avoid damaging the AirPods, I placed and cut ribbons flush with each hole, so I could paint more freely on them.

Cómo necesitaba una superficie lo suficientemente blanca y texturizada para dibujar, con acrílico blanco, pinte ambos lados de la caja de los AirPods.

Because I needed a white and textured enough surface to draw on, with white acrylic, I painted both sides of the AirPods case.

Medí en papel blanco las longitudes de este e hice un boceto para poder tener más precisión, el cual pase luego a la superficie ya pintada.

I measured on white paper the lengths of this and made a sketch to be able to have more precision, which I then passed to the already painted surface.

A partir de ahí, comencé a pintar con acrílicos utilizando colores acordes con la pintura original, trate de ser casi exacta a la obra llamada: "Noche estrellada".

From then on, I started to paint with acrylics using colors according to the original painting, trying to be almost exact to the work called: "Starry Night".

Pinte el árbol de negro, y al mismo tiempo le agregué detalles.

I painted the tree black, and at the same time added details.

Luego pinté de azul parte del cielo, continué con la luna agregándole tonos diferentes de amarillo para los detalles y un poco de blanco para resaltar y agregar luz.

Then I painted part of the sky blue, continued with the moon adding different shades of yellow for the details and a little white to highlight and add light.

Con un azul más claro, resalte esa parte del cielo, puesto que simula un remolino de aire.

With a lighter blue, highlight that part of the sky, as it simulates a swirl of air.

Por último, para terminar el cielo, pinte lo que vendrían siendo estrellas o luces en el cielo, y le di movimiento al remolino con un azul mucho más claro y blanco para dar luz.

Finally, to finish the sky, I painted what would be stars or lights in the sky, and gave movement to the swirl with a much lighter blue and white to give light.

Así es como se vería, agregando detalles para que haga la ilusión de que el cielo tiene movimiento.

This is how it would look, adding details to give the illusion that the sky has movement.

Para finalizar ese lado de los AirPods, pinte el pueblo que está reflejado a la distancia de la obra original, aunque no estuviera con exactitud como el original, estuve conforme con el resultado.

To finish that side of the AirPods, I painted the town that is mirrored at a distance from the original artwork, even though it was not exactly like the original, I was happy with the result.

Para la otra mitad del AirPods, pinte una luna y estrellas al mismo estilo de la obra.

For the other half of the AirPods, paint a moon and stars in the same style as the artwork.

Agregué detalles de remolinos de aire simulando movimientos en el cielo.

I added details of air swirls simulating movements in the sky.

Para terminar apliqué gel con escarchas a toda la pintura, fue un extra que quise agregar para que luciera mucho más bonito.

To finish I applied gel with frosting to all the paint, it was an extra I wanted to add to make it look much nicer.

Las pinturas que utilice fueron acrílicos en su totalidad, pero aunque son un poco más resistentes que otras pinturas, decidí aplicar finalizador de unas acrílicas a toda la pintura, para que tuviera muchísima más durabilidad, y por supuesto lo cure todo a lámpara ultravioleta.

The paints I used were acrylics in their entirety, but although they are a little more resistant than other paints, I decided to apply acrylic finisher to all the paint, so that it would have much more durability, and of course I cured it all with an ultraviolet lamp.
