Gordon I took the young singer to London and changed his name to Tom Jones there he got him signed to Decca Records his first single Hills and Fever was released in 1964 the song failed to make a huge impact but its follow up It's Not Unusual released in 1965 did become a huge hit he instantly became a celebrity and was even invited onto The Ed Sullivan Show by 1968 he had released a string of hit songs and in 1969 he started his own television show This Is Tom Jones which ran until 1971 after touring the world during the 70s releasing a string of hit singles such as She's a Chill Lady and The Young Puppeteers of New Mexico, although he failed to make a mark with his singles in the early 80s
He reached the singles chart with another support single from nowhere released in 1987 after the success of this single he collaborated with artist van morrison to dance carry a torch in 1993 he signed a contract with interscope records and released the album the lady and how to single from which the single and line fallon became a big hit his next big hit was watch for which he joined several artists like natalie a loop beings mattheos drum and son mouse and robbie williams and others more.
in the year 2000 president bill clinton invited him on new year's eve to perform in washington he says after a couple of years of releasing his+ next album mister jones which enjoyed quite a bit of success in 2007 he was invited to perform at the concert for diana organized at wembley stadium along with several+ world famous artists.
In 2008 he released 24 Hours from which the single If You Ever Gave Him was a huge success. He released another album Praise and Blame which received rave reviews. In 2010 the album is considered one of his best works so far. In 2012 he was invited to judge the immensely popular reality singing competition The Voice Jockey alongside other judges including Jesse James Williams and Dan and College for the single And If You Haven't Got Or. The singer won a Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category in 1966. He also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1989 for his contribution to music.

Well, I'll tell you that this artist is very special to me, this artist was already an idol for my father, and I remember this song a lot because he used to play it a lot at home and when Christmas came, especially on the 24th, that's when he used to play it the most.
