One Hell of an Electric Day

We were invited to anticipated One Electric Day music concert in Werribee Mansion and we couldn't ask for a better day. What a beautiful day! Melbourne last weekend at its finest 22 or 23 degrees with slight breeze in magnificent looking lush ground of the spectacular Werribee Mansion. What a setting to start with. It doesn't matter what event is going on, the Mansion is always breathtaking all year round and last Sunday was such a nice day. The queue was huge with thousands of people (I guess around 20 thousands people) with camping chair, esky, picnic table, etc happy and excited faces.

When you thought about of the likes of people there performing, it was magnificent. Been around during 60s and 70s, the oldest performer Daryl Braithwaite been 74 years ago still going strong. Most were 60 plus and the youngest was Missy Higgins at 40 years old who replaced for Belinda Carlisle who was suppose to perform on that day but had to cancel due to her illness. However, Missy was amazing and put on a great performance. I was really impressed with Jon Stevens a Kiwi boy front man of Noise Works. He looks great at his age and still has such good energy even in 62 years old. He truly owed the stage. Icehouse was the highlight of the show and people flocked just to see them. Everyone was there until the last song to watch Iva and his team. They sang every song word for word. I couldn't help but feel a sense of thrill and excitement as we prepared to immerse ourselves in a world where music transcended boundaries and connected souls.

Everything you could need was close by and well organized. The medical assistant stood ready, ensuring that any unexpected issues are swiftly addressed with care and professionalism. The security team moved with purpose, keeping a watchful eye on the crowd without impeding your enjoyment. Plenty of clean toilets and smoking areas were designated for those who need it. Food was in one area and drink in another area. Spectacular house was behind and everywhere was going to be a good seat as grasses were soft and big screens all around, and the sound was exceptional not a single error from the sound team (very professional).

The music was excellent, very well performed about 50-60 mins each. The event went from 10:30 am- 7:30 pm. It was a big day but it didn't drag out and nice little break in between each band so I could have some drink and talk to my friends. We are very much family and friendly environment with most people there in group. What an unforgettable experience. I love the electrifying atmosphere, and Aussies' love affair with their rock and roll. The event was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of life, love, and timeless melodies.

This was my first time been here and I fully immersed myself in the magic of the music and vibrant crowd. What a truly beautiful atmosphere and I would love to come again next year even I don't know who will perform. If you're interested, I suggest to book the tickets early as they sell out very fast :)\
