MY MOVIE REVIEW: ERAGON

There are some movies that can't easily live your brain quickly and sometimes it might just be because of the memories attached to the movie. I remember watching The Eragon many years ago and recently still need to rewatch it again due to how entertaining it was. I personally love watching movies that are filled with so many adventures and watching The Eragon, it didn't disappoint.

I remember watching that movie back then and I begin to compare it to some of the movies I watched back then also. Examples like Harry Potter, Lord of the rings and many more. But trust me, the movie didn't really disappoint. The movie center around a young village boy that was called Eragon. That young boy happen to playe the center role of the movie and I will say the role was perfectly acted.

In the movie, the young boy who is called Eragon like I said found a blue stone that turns to a dragon egg. Fortunately, the egg eventually hatched and the dragon became his closed friends. In fact, the dragon eventually helped the boy to become a warrior who will later fight against evil in the kingdom.

He soon grew to become a mighty warrior in that movie thanks to his mentor. Eragon learned how to fight and use his magic in that movie to protect his kingdom thanks to his mentor Brom. There was actually something I was able to pick from it and that is the power of mentors. After watching that movie, I discovered that Eragon will not have become a mighty warrior if he has not encountered Brom who was his mentor.

If there is actually something that really attract me so much to the movie, I will say it is the way The Dragon played it's part. In fact, without the dragon in that movie, the movie might not really be that interesting to watch. I love dragons and I love the scene when the dragon and Eragon are together.

There are some of the things I really love about the movie that really stood out. I love the visuals most especially those mountain views. They really stood out. Not only that, I love the casting they used. But for me, I believe the movie should have been much more than the roughly 2 hours they used. It was looking as if they rushed the storytelling.

When it comes to the acting performance, I will say all the cast did well. The main cast which is Eragon did a great job, Brom which happens to be his mentor also did well and even the villian did well. Just that there are some little scenes that lacks that emotional connection with the viewers and does not necessarily needs to be dragged. Sometimes there are some scenes that I perceived as if they are dragging it to make the movie longer unnecessarily in the movie duration.

For me, it is a good movie because it gives me the memories that even till now, I have not forgotten. The movie started well but it looks like when the movie was about to end, it start to lose its momentum. I also wished there were more scene where the magic was displayed much more than when there is a fight. Also I believe the storytelling should not have been rushed. In fact, with the storyline, I believe the movie should be acted in seasons so that it will give the viewers that perfect opportunity to actually enjoy the movie to the fullest. Apart from that, the movie was really watch movie and I will recommend it to anyone anyday.

In fact currently now, I am still looking for the movie in order to rewatch it again but I am finding it hard to locate the link that will give me the full download for the movie. For the rating I will give it 8/10. The movie started very well no doubt about that one but at the tail end, it fizzled out in the momentum.
