Hubert Kah - oft belächelt aber
Viele halten ihn für nen komischen Kauz, Depp der NDW Welle, aber ich denke er hat da einiges mehr drauf wie der Rest - auf jeden Fall falls wenig Talen, einTop Team, guten Komponist / Manager - und wer aus der Szene war Top 100 in den US Charts.

Ich bin jetzt kein Produzent, nur Amateur DJ gewesen in den Love Parade Early Days (andere Mucke), aufgewachsen mit Metal / Hard Rock - Schlager musste ich ertragen daheim - die NDW ebenso - aber da gab es schon gute Projekte- Kraftwerk war ja bereits davor Vorreiter für Techno - Hubert Kah galt immer als naja, aber die Sounds / Lieder sind meines Erachtens am besten produziert was Neue Deutsche Welle angeht und auch international kompatibel.
Was meinen die alten Säcke die das noch kennen?
Mit Engel07 konnte er damals sogar in den USD Charts landen, das hat sonst nur die NENA mit 99 Luftballons geschafft.

Während ich schreibe denke ich nur, keiner von Euch weiss was das ist, noch weiss jemand was NDW war :-)?
Bekannt ist er für Rosemarie (1982):

Nur ist er einfach bekannt für NDW - nicht sicher wer sich das anhört, leider schade, da es durchaus gut ist.

Joachim Witt kenne ich gut aus der Zeit, die Songs hatten was, aber er kam auch bisserl psycho rüber damals schon, ähnlich wie der Hubert.
Ja, war halt kein Material für die ZDF Hitparade. Ich schätze mal, mit Absicht.
Ich meine Witt war in dieser Hitparade sogar - Witt war für mich jetzt auch nicht besser als der andere NDW Kram - was ich cool fand (wurde in NDW reingezogen) war Spliff - das war Musik, da gab es viele unterschiedliche Styles.
Ja, Witt's Goldener Reiter war ein Super Hit, auch auf der Pop Musik Seite. Dabei ist der Text keineswegs in der Kategorie "ich will Spaß, ich geb Gas" einzuordnen.
Es kommt halt sehr darauf an, wie man NDW definiert. Damals wurde ja fast alles mit deutschem Text so bezeichnet, egal wie die Musik war und der Text. Da war auch viel gutes dabei - wie zB. auch Spliff - neben dem Hitparaden Ramsch.

Spliff war mein Ding eh - hab mir das 85555 Album damals gegönnt in einer versilberten Box - das sah schon cool aus (war aber bereits CD).
