Hola, muy estimados amigos de la comunidad @musiczone, por ciertas e intempestivas visicitudes he estado un tiempo sin poder publicar - todavía hoy no puedo, voy "contra corriente" - . Deseo dedicar está canción a las madres en su día y también a quienes en este día de la madre no tienen a la suya cerca, quizá porque se encuentren en localidades o países lejanos. Qué Dios permita un pronto reencuentro en condiciones favorables. Y para quienes tenemos a nuestra madre en otro plano... sugiero leer esto

Hoy les traigo un antiguo canto tradicional venezolano "Pajarillo verde", haciendo la salvedad que acá utilizamos la palabra "pajarito" pero no "pajarillo". Esta manera de hacer el diminutivo de pájaro la usamos solo... para está canción 😁 y para hacer alusión al "pajarillo", un ritmo del joropo.

Como versión original les traigo la de Cecilia Todd, excelente cantante y cuatrista venezolana con proyección internacional.

Cecilia Todd vive en el pueblo de El Hatillo, y en su casa da clases de cuatro a niños.

A mí me fascina la voz de Cecilia Todd y de las versiones que conozco de "Pajarillo verde" es la de ella con. su dulce voz y expresividad la que más me ha gustado.

No me fue posible encontrar el nombre del compositor de la melodía ni del autor de la letra. Con respecto a esta, aunque la canción se titula " Pajarillo verde" el protagonismo del pajarillo se limita a ser oyente de las desgracias de quien le habla y le cuenta sus problemas, sus penas y tristezas mientras le inquiere "¿Cómo no quieres que llore? ¿Cómo no voy a llorar?" Y allí arranca con su rosario de desdichas.

El pajarillo podría ser eso, un pajarito ya sea enjaulado o posado en alguna rama a quien el que habla
acude para desahogarse.

Podría ser también un amigo o familiar apodado "Pajarillo verde", run apodo algo peculiar pero posible. En Caracas conocí a un muchacho al que le decían "Zamuro'e techo" (Por "Zamuro de techo" )

Lo cierto es que ese " Pajarillo Verde" debe haberle expresado que " no quiere que llore" y la persona le narra una a una todas las razones que tiene para hacerlo.

Bueno, que nunca se nos acumulen tantos problemas juntos y que siempre tengamos un Pajarillo Verde dispuesto a escucharnos cuando necesitemos desahogarnos.
