I hope this post is seen by many people, because I am about to tell you something incredible, it is the most amazing, mystical and beautiful thing that has ever happened to me, and the best part is that this event is recorded in this post!

Sometimes, to record, I bring the painting you see in the video and the cover photo, which is a painting of Lord Krishna and the Gopis that was painted by my grandmother. Okay, today I decided to record a Venezuelan Christmas carol called ‘Niño Lindo’ (Cute Boy), which basically talks about the baby Jesus or Jesus Christ when he was born, that is, it has a spiritual connotation. Lord Krishna also has the form of a child, which is how he manifested himself on earth in his early years, so whenever I sing or listen to that song, I meditate on Krishna in his cowherd boy form (Gopal) because the song reminds me of him and the small but present devotion I have for my Lord.

Now, I calmly record the song with the cuatro, and well, when I listen to the recording, in the repeated chorus, which says ‘niño lindo ante ti me rindo’ (handsome boy, I surrender to you), I seem to hear another instrument, a transverse flute. At first, I didn't understand what was happening, but it turns out that this accompaniment has musical coherence! It was following me. If you're Venezuelan, you know that the rhythms of this country are a bit complicated, but the flute follows me even with that rhythmic ‘flavour’ we have, and obviously the notes they play are within the key I'm playing, which I think is D or Bm.

Obviously, I am the only musician in my house and in my family apart from my dad, but he lives in Brazil and does not play the flute. There are no musicians in my neighbourhood or building either, except for one, but he plays the piano and lives two floors below me. Besides, I closed the window and couldn't hear anything from outside except for a little bit of traffic. I didn't have any music apps open on my phone either, and even if I did, how would I accompany what I was playing? It should be noted that the version I'm playing IS NOT IN THE ORIGINAL KEY. I changed the key to suit my voice, and I couldn't find any versions of this carol in D on the internet. Besides, the flute sounds like it's in the same room. If it had been someone outside, the only musician in the building is two floors below mine, and besides, I had the window closed, and besides, he doesn't play the flute, and it's not like he likes me enough to accompany me xD and, ALSO, he's never at home, and, ALSO, if it had come from outside, flutes sound like that, but not so much.

To top it off, I didn't hear the sound of that flute when it was playing, I was very focused and I only realised when I checked the recording. And well, do you know who plays the transverse flute? Krishna. Here's the video, you can hear the sound better when I sing the second ‘niño lindo’ he plays what I think is a C# and F#, those are the tonal notes.

Obviously, I showed it to my whole family and they were able to perceive the flute.
