Hi #hiveans, welcome to my page. I am @daniky, and this is my entry to Hive Music Festival Week 156 round 3. For this week, I'm presenting a song cover by Amy Grant titled "Elshadai." This song is a very popular gospel song that has been in existence for over 3 decades. I hope you'll like it. I only used a fragment of the song's chorus for my presentation. The chorus is a summary and evaluation of the entire song's lyrics (main page). The song is a form of acknowledgment to God, declaring Him as the Ancient of Days and Elshadai. In the full version of the lyrics, references were made to miracles performed through the power of the name of Jesus. On the other hand, it is also a demonstration of God's sovereignty and reverence for His holy name.
Elshadai, Elyon na adonai is a cordial word meaning "God Most High." It is a recognition of eternity; God remains the same, regardless of the changes occurring on earth and within us today. In addition to the melody of this song, the lyrics teach us to depend on God, who never changes like us I hope this post is helpful.
