Hive Music Festival week 147 Round 2// NIGERIA NATIONAL ANTHEM (COVER)

Hiii, wonderful people of God, here is another beautiful day that the lord has made. Welcome to an amazing week, round 2 eek 147, and I am amazinggrace01. As a corp member currently serving her mother land and a dedicated citizen of the country Nigeria, I am going to be doing the NATIONAL ANTHEM.

This national anthem was written in the year 1959 by a British woman, official taken at independence in the year 1960, and brought back in May, 2024 during the reign of our honourable president TINUBU, we all know this national anthem was replaced with the formal anthem, Arise, O compatriot.

Stanza 1
Nigeria we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ
In brotherhood we stand
Nigerias all, are proud to serve
Our sovereign motherland.

Stanza 2
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and Justice reign
In peace and battle honored
And this we count as gain
To hand onto our children
A banner without stain.

Stanza 3a
Oh God of all creation,
Grant this our one request
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed.
