Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algo muy especial para mí. Esta vez no se trata de una interpretación vocal, sino de un cover instrumental en guitarra eléctrica del tema “Can’t Help Falling in Love”, una de esas canciones que, sin importar el paso del tiempo, sigue teniendo la capacidad de tocar fibras muy profundas en quienes la escuchan.

Decidí llevarla al terreno de la guitarra eléctrica porque quería explorar un contraste interesante: tomar una balada clásica, cargada de ternura y nostalgia, y darle un nuevo aire a través de un instrumento que muchas veces asociamos con la fuerza, el rock o la potencia. En lugar de saturar la canción con distorsiones, opté por un sonido limpio, con un ligero reverb y matices que buscan transmitir calidez. Mientras grababa, traté de dejarme llevar por la melodía más que por la técnica. El resultado es una interpretación íntima, sencilla y honesta, donde cada acorde se convierte en un suspiro.

Creo que lo bello de “Can’t Help Falling in Love” es que no necesita adornos excesivos. Es una canción que brilla por su pureza, y mi objetivo fue rendirle tributo desde un lugar de respeto y sensibilidad. I decided to bring it into the world of electric guitar because I wanted to explore an interesting contrast: taking a classic ballad, full of tenderness and nostalgia, and giving it a new breath through an instrument we often associate with strength, rock, or power. Instead of loading the song with distortion, I chose a clean tone, with a soft reverb and nuances meant to convey warmth. The idea was to let every note breathe and feel like a caress, while keeping the romantic essence of the original intact.

While recording, I tried to let the melody guide me more than technique. I wasn’t aiming to complicate the arrangement or show off virtuosity, but rather to let the guitar speak on its own—like a voice expressing itself without words. The result is an intimate, simple, and honest interpretation, where every chord becomes a sigh.
