[Music] Get moving and shaking your body to this unforgettable piece of rock and roll--"Roll Over Beethoven" -1963

Today I'm bringing you my thoughts and some technical details about one of those songs that, just by listening to it, makes you want to dance to its swing and rhythm. Despite its simplicity, it's powerful in its cadence and immense in what it represents and reflects. I'm referring to another one of my favorite songs of theirs: the rock and roll song "Roll Over Beethoven," a truly fantastic track from beginning to end. I love it!

I'll tell you that this song is one of the first songs performed by George Harrison when he was 19 years old. Of course, the song isn't original to them; it was written by the father of Rock and Roll, Chuck Berry, back in the mid-1950s. I was quite surprised when I first heard it, because I thought it was John Lennon singing it, due to his slightly nasal and high-pitched voice. As you can see, I was wrong. Of course, I'm talking about 40 years ago, maybe more, because my wonderful fandom has been going strong for a few decades now.

This rock 'n' roll gem features George on lead guitar and vocals, John on rhythm guitar, Paul on bass, and Ringo on drums. And I should mention that its creator wanted popular music, in this case Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues, to be as highly regarded as classical or art music. This song also has several versions over time.

They always performed it, even when they were complete unknowns in the early 1960s, and even after they embraced fame with its smooth and rich taste of success, they continued performing it well into 1965. The song was recorded by them in mid-1963 and was included on their second studio LP, "With The Beatles," and on the "Second Album" as a North American version in early 1964, recorded at EMI in London and brilliantly produced by George Martin.

There's an album called Beatles at Star Club in Hamburg, from 1962, where they perform a version of that song—a characteristic and much-loved track, of course (myself included). Unfortunately, it was recorded almost by chance, and the sound quality is terrible. I think they recorded it in a tiny room with the door closed. The sound is awful, but it has a very particular and raw style for that time. Remember, Beatlemania exploded in 1964, and in 1962 they were just one more group among many trying to break through and make a name for themselves.

As a summary of everything I've been saying in this review, when one thinks of The Beatles, one assumes they were always famous. But it turns out that, like everyone else, they too had a beginning—a very difficult one, indeed—sometimes facing scorn, indifference, and monotony. But one day, after so much struggle, they were able to forge their own path. The story of this song is very similar to the story of many of us, with a difficult and arduous journey, but with sweet rewards at the end. Well, at least that's how I see and feel it.

Well, my dear and esteemed readers, I send you my warmest farewell hug, hoping, of course, that you enjoyed the post or review. And believe me, I enjoyed it as much as the other reviews I've shared with you these past few days. A fraternal hug to all... Blessings!

Even though the song wasn't theirs, it's very good; that's right, they weren't always famous, but they made it.
Greetings friend, thank you for your valuable comment, thank you very much...a hug.
It's an extraordinary song, I danced to it many years ago, a delight of melody and movement. Excellent review, my friend; learning about the Beatles is wonderful.

Interesting to know that the song wasn't theirs. Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that everything they sing is theirs, but it's good to know. Cayi, why does that video look badly recorded? And it looks like the background is cardboard folded in four? I'm curious why you're making a post about the recording of that video.

Greetings. Yes, it's a user-made video. The cardboard cutouts are effects they added, and the images of them are a collage of them performing the song on several occasions. Remember that the app doesn't accept all videos of a specific song; I have no idea why that happens... it must be some kind of vortex around here. !LADY
The video is somewhat strange but it sounds good, interesting that fact that this particular music was by another artist, super
