Hello to all the Hive users present here, It is a pleasure to meet you all, and I want to thank you for giving me this amazing chance to express myself and share my life experience. It has always been one of my aspirations to tell my story to everyone without holding back. In spite of the joy and lessons, as well as the grief and sorrows. I'm grateful to God.

ABOUT MYSELF

I'm David Tom by name, currently ItzTomBoy here,and I'm 15 years old. I am 70cm tall, I'm a Christian, I have swart skin, and I was born in the large city of Calaber, Calaber South. I am an indigene of Akwa Ibom in the Ikono local government area. I currently reside in Uyo with my aunt, and I'm also grateful to God that I have a complete family.
My mom's name is Ime Friday Tom, and my dad's name is Friday Tom. I have four siblings: three boys and one girl. My parents are the best; they are not financially strong but are loving, caring, and hardworking. They make sure they provide for our basic needs. My dad is an electrician, while my mom is a businesswoman. I love spending time with my family; they are always fun to be with. My mom is very nice to us; she's the kind of person who provides for the family when Dad is absent. In terms of going out to make ends meet, my mom takes us shopping and buys us toys, clothes, shoes, and provisions. She is the best. 😘.

I also have a senior brother who takes on the position of my dad when he's not around. He is the eldest among us; he graduated from the University of Calabar in the department of anatomy two years ago and found a job at the Calabar teaching hospital. My senior brother is supportive of my family.

MY EDUCATION

I attended a nursery and primary school, where I passed through all sections. I have been working hard and being an achiever since my elementary days, and even up to this moment, glory be to God. In my primary school, I mate with friends, and me and my friends used to go out on an outing. My school used to take me on an excursion, and primary school life was fun. I return all thanks to God for providing for me, a hardworking parent, which later futhered my education into the secondary school, where I went and learned good morals, understood the way of life of others, and their attitude. Did you know the funniest thing? I mate with my newest friends. My secondary school was one of my best experiences. We used to organize some weekly activities like sporting activities (football,volleyball,table tennis, etc.), and at the end we went out for competition and came back with trophies and victories,which made us the stars of the school. I'm so grateful that during my stay at the nursery,primary and secondary, I came out with flying colors in all my examinations and finally obtained a testimonial in the primary section and an SSCE result in the secondary section. This made my family so proud of me. And now I am praying for the grace to further my education. I am working so hard and hustling..

MY CAREER

The moment I further my education at the university, I would like to choose a medical course because I love medical courses; they will expose me to natural, man-made, living, and non-living creatures. And my dream is to work in a big, expensive hospital and, to be honest, to easily earn money too. This will help change the story of my family, but the problem I'm having is that school fees for medical courses are very expensive. But there's nothing God cannot do. I will try to partake in scholarship examinations from different schools; this will help me to further my education in order to make my dreams come true.

MY LIKES AND DISLIKES

Simply said, my dietary restrictions and refined taste in company come from who I am. I like to have bread and tea at least three times a day. Bananas are my favorite fruit, and blue is my favorite color. Garri and Abak soup is my favorite lunch option. I adore a tidy atmosphere. I detest unclean environments. It usually annoys me a lot if someone leaves litter after I've finished sweeping.

HOBBIES

Drawing ✏
I love drawing especially when ever I'm bored, I draw randomly to what so ever comes into my mind, drawing is my priority, it boast my self esteem and inspires me to be a lover of art..

• Football ⚽
  Secondly, I love playing and watching football, especially when I play with my family and friends. I love playing it, and it is one of my pain relief exercises. I also love watching cartoons, especially on GOTV. One of my favorite channels is Disney Junior. And my most interesting cartoon is PJ Mask. There are a lot of cartoons I have been watching, but this one is my favorite.

TAKING PHOTOS AND CAPTURING NATURE

Taking photos is also fulfilling and relaxing. It might not be a hobby, but I love taking pictures. I do all this when I'm bored and less busy. Going into the farms and streets and observing the behavior of plants and other living and nonliving organisms. This also ignited my knowledge and introduced me to the new behaviors of some creatures. And it also makes me feel happy... 🤓

MY BEST FRIENDS💏

Hear my friends, named Inyene, Miracle, Blessing, Emmanuel, and Daniel. We've been friends since childhood. We all meet at the church. The name of my church is Lutheran Church. I am proudly a Lutheran. This particular group of my friends—even in another life, I won't ever forget them. These are friends that always remind me about church activities; our bonds are too strong and can't be broken.
Our parents brought us up in the way of Christ,teaching us how to obey the ten commandments and the Lord's prayers and reminding us to pray before going to bed, and when you wake up in the morning, you must pray. Mostly in our Sunday school, we are taught that "On Christ, the solid rock, we stand...We talk and chart a lot in our group chart,all thanks to social media, which makes us communicate with each other since everyone is out of the state for school. In our group chat, we share our feelings, problems, and even talk about our everyday lives and boredom. We also share pictures of our lives in the group chat. It makes me feel validated and inspires my soul. Cheer to our slogan, *One Family, One Nation! We are still best friends for life💪...

  HOW I GOT TO KNOW HIVE

Firstly, I am so thankful to my senior sister, who introduced Hive to me and also encouraged me, promising to guide and direct me in order to make it on this platform. She also explained to me the rules and regulations guiding the website and made me understand that Hive is not like every other website. What I love more about Hive is that it improves your ascent and expands your knowledge, and you also get to meet new friends and family from different parts of the world. I hope to learn more skills and knowledge here someday!!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ME ON HIVE

Well,since I'm new, I will make sure I try to give my best by sharing my ideas, activities, everyday experiences, musical skills, and motivational quotes.
