ESPAÑOL

Es increíble como una cosa nos lleva a otra en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Un día estas ingresando en la orquesta para aprender a tocar Violonchelo y otro, ya estás dentro de una banda de Rock sinfónico. Es gracioso ver como se dieron las cosas pero lo mejor de todo es como todos los integrantes nos llevamos bien. No sólo somos una banda, somos amigos y compañeros en la orquesta. En resumen, todos nos conocimos en el núcleo de música al que comencé a asistir para aprender a tocar el Violoncelo.

Últimamente he estado muy ocupada en eso y por esos motivos no había escrito más posts. También lo vi como una especie de vacaciones obligadas, ya que aún no sale mi contrato de mi antiguo empleo pues, decidí que aprovecharía el tiempo libre para hacer por fin algo que siempre quise hacer. Tomé algo positivo de toda ésta espera y me dediqué a cumplir un sueño que pensé que no realizaría. Nunca es tarde.

En fin, mis amigos ya habían pensado en crear una banda de rock sinfónico y cuando me conocieron, decidieron incluirme después de oírme cantar en el coro de adultos, así que acepte. Siempre quise tener o pertenecer a una banda y éste era el momento indicado. Después de días de prácticas y ensayos por nuestra cuenta, los directores del núcleo de música nos animaron y aceptaron que fuéramos teloneros de otra banda (no tan buena jaja). Después de ver uno de nuestros ensayos nos propusieron ser teloneros y decidimos aceptar.

Sólo teníamos dos canciones montadas, las cuales pertenecen a la banda Mago de Oz. Las canciones son "La costa del silencio" y "Fiesta pagana". Por estúpidas razones no nos dejaron cantar fiesta pagana, así que solo se tocó en acústico.

El día del evento fue el 22 de Julio en la biblioteca del pueblo a eso de las 4:00pm de la tarde. Fue un día genial. Habíamos ensayado todo el día y habíamos estado divirtiéndonos todo el tiempo, supongo que eso ayudó para soltarnos un poco para el día del evento. Ésta vez me tocó ser la vocalista junto a uno de mis compañeros llamado Gabriel. En otro post con más calma les hablaré de cada uno de los integrantes y cómo son nuestros ensayos.

En fin, debo admitir que me puse un tanto nerviosa pues entre el público llegó una persona que tenía tiempo sin saber de él y pues fue incómodo y agradable volver a verlo. Una vez comenzado el evento, dimos la primera presentación acústica con "Fiesta pagana". Debido a problemitas de audio nos tocó apoyar a nuestros compañeros y sujetar los micrófonos.

Después de eso tocamos la "Costa del silencio", fue genial cantar la canción por primera vez con público jeje. Todos estábamos emocionados, no sé si fue el refresco o las galletas que habíamos comido antes, pero estábamos hiperactivos ja ja. Por cierto, cabe destacar que la mayoría de los integrantes de Los inadaptados, son adolescentes jajaja.

Sin duda fue una bonita experiencia y esperamos tener más como ésta y seguir creciendo como banda de rock sinfónico. Estamos en ensayos y aprendiendo nuevas canciones para tener nuestro repertorio o como ahora le llamamos, "agenda artística".

It's amazing how one thing leads to another in the blink of an eye. One day you are joining the orchestra to learn to play the cello and another, you are already in a symphonic rock band. It's funny to see how things turned out but best of all is how all the members get along. We are not just a band, we are friends and partners in the orchestra. In short, we all met at the music center that I began to attend to learn to play the cello.

Lately I have been very busy with this and for these reasons I had not written more posts. I also saw it as a kind of mandatory vacation, since my contract from my old job has not come out yet, so I decided that I would take advantage of my free time to finally do something that I always wanted to do. I took something positive from all this waiting and dedicated myself to fulfilling a dream that I thought would not come true. It's never too late.

Anyway, my friends had already thought about creating a symphonic rock band and when they met me, they decided to include me after hearing me sing in the adult choir, so I accepted. I always wanted to have or belong to a band and this was the right time. After days of practice and rehearsals on our own, the directors of the music nucleus encouraged us and accepted that we be the opening act for another band (not so good haha). After seeing one of our rehearsals they asked us to be the opening act and we decided to accept.

We only had two songs edited, both of which belong to the band Wizard of Oz. The songs are "The coast of silence" and "Fiesta pagana". For stupid reasons they didn't let us sing pagan party, so it was only played acoustically.

The day of the event was July 22 at the town library at about 4:00 pm in the afternoon. It was a great day. We had rehearsed all day and had been having fun the whole time, I guess that helped loosen us up a bit for the day of the event. This time I had to be the vocalist with one of my classmates named Gabriel. In another post, more calmly, I will talk about each of the members and what our rehearsals are like.

Anyway, I must admit that I got a little nervous because a person who hadn't heard from him for a long time came among the audience and it was uncomfortable and pleasant to see him again. Once the event started, we gave the first acoustic presentation with "Fiesta pagana". Due to audio problems we had to support our colleagues and hold the microphones.

After that we played "Coast of Silence", it was great to sing the song for the first time with an audience hehe. We were all excited, I don't know if it was the soda or the cookies we had earlier, but we were hyper lol. By the way, it should be noted that most of the members of The Misfits are teenagers hahaha.

Without a doubt it was a nice experience and we hope to have more like this and continue to grow as a symphonic rock band. We are in rehearsals and learning new songs to have our repertoire or as we now call it, "artistic agenda".
