AI glasses?
(these arrived yesterday)
Hey hive fam, I got these glasses (the bottom ones, I already had the cheap chinese audio glasses on top), and they ARE nice.. well-made.. with nice sound and great features, but they are NOT as advertised..
Here's what it says on the box..
In fairness, I am happy with what they do right out of the box and only tried for a brief time to get the app working, so maybe the really do do all the things listed.
What I really wanted were some nice, comfortable glasses that are also bluetooth to my phone, mostly for listening to music. I don't plan on using it for calls or talking to some robot inside my ears.
I have yet to test the battery life, but the ad claims 7 hrs.. even if its close, it will surely beat my cheap ($10) pair I got from china that lasts just 2-3 hrs and has very soft and tinny sound compared to these.
An interesting thing is that each arm of the glasses is powered on separately and even has its own charging ports. Also, because it just pairs to ur phone, it CAN do AI, or translation, or anything that a smart phone can do, but with remote and discreet sound, PLUS the nice display on ur phone, if u are using that.

all in all, I highly recommend this purchase. (if u are into it) Here's a product vid that I watched and it convinced me to buy..
I think I got bait and swicthed or there are a few different models maybe.. I got the cheapest ones "getD AI glasses' off of ebay.. no fancy triangular charging case, but I saved like $20 so.. its all good.

I probably missed it, but your post nor the video in it mention the exact brand/model or price. The video has a link to Amazon but Amazon says the link is broken. Are they called GetD AI Glasses?
I'll come back later and re-read and re-watch so I can see if I want the same glasses, they do seem cool!

yea.. i think there are several models and i got the cheapest ones. if i bought it now i would get it from amazon and make sure it was the getD AI glasses with transitional lenses. I don't even know if mine are since i haven't takeb them outside yet, but they do sound very good and are way more comfortable and better made than the chinese ones.

I think my phone can already translate languages, and I have both a headband and now also a hat with speakers, so I probably won't be getting glasses, yet. I might think about AR glasses soon though. I like the idea of having a 10 inch TV on my face that I can also see through. I think that's how these things work?!?!? :D

kenny.. i was gonna talk about these too, but they are way too expensive IMO.. maybe later they will reach a better price..
but how about having a 3 screens HUD with u at all times, full PC in your glasses, and a mouse in a ring also..

I wanted to buy it so bad, but my eyesight's so bad😞, can't use it. I have my prescription glasses.
i see, i just wear the ai glasses, but on top my head.. so i can still here it, but i wear my regular sunglasses on my eyes. :P
That's a clever hack, it's still functional if you do that. I might try it too.
