Escogí está canción porque me recuerda mucho a mi etapa de adolescencia. Recuerdo que en la secundaria era una niña muy tímida para nada del grupo de los populares del aula y con dos amigas solamente. Tenía muchos complejos por mi peso ,era muy delgada y me sentía como la mayoría de los adolescentes,poco agraciada y que no pertenecía a ningún grupo. Fueron tres años de lucha contra mis complejos y mi timidez. Enamorada de alguien que era un amor imposible cómo casi todos a esa edad y la única alegría que tenía en mi vida era la música.

I chose this song because it reminds me a lot of my teenage years. I remember that in high school I was a very shy girl, not at all part of the popular group in class and with only two friends. I had a lot of complexes about my weight, I was very thin and I felt like most teenagers, unattractive and that I didn't belong to any group. It was three years of fighting against my complexes and my shyness. I was in love with someone who was an impossible love like almost everyone at that age and the only joy I had in my life was music.

Desde los 7 años pertenecía a un cantoría infantil del barrio que se llamaba Vocación , dirigida por la maestra Vilma Galindo y la que años más tarde me ayudara a entrar en el mundo profesional. Actualmente ella dirige el coro polifónico de Pinar del Río del cual soy parte. A ella le estaré eternamente agradecida. Mi alegría como ya dije eran los ensayos del coro después de la escuela y en las noches poner mi cassette favorito antes de dormir. David Bisbal. Este fue mi primer cassette, regalo de mi madre porque ella sabía cuánto me gustaban David y sus canciones.😁 Temas como Ave María y Dígale la canción que traigo hoy para ustedes me erizaban la piel y me hacían vibrar.

Since I was 7 years old I belonged to a children's singing group in the neighborhood called Vocación, directed by the teacher Vilma Galindo and who years later helped me enter the professional world. Currently she directs the polyphonic choir of Pinar del Río of which I am a part. I will be eternally grateful to her. My joy, as I said before, was the choir rehearsals after school and at night playing my favorite cassette before going to sleep. David Bisbal. This was my first cassette, a gift from my mother because she knew how much I liked David and his songs. 😁 Songs like Ave María and Dígale la canción that I bring to you today made my hair stand on end and made me vibrate.

Gracias a esta música la vida se me hacía más fácil en esta etapa donde adolescemos de tantas cosas. Recuerdo con mucho cariño el vídeo musical de "Dígale" en el programa que yo tanto esperaba con mi mejor amiga de la época, Colorama. Nos quedábamos despiertas hasta muy tarde para ver lo más actual de la música internacional en ese momento. Lindos recuerdos que jamás olvidaré. Espero la disfruten tanto como yo y que esten pasando un lindo fin de semana. Saludos.

Thanks to this music, life became easier for me at this stage where we lack so many things. I fondly remember the music video for "Dígale" on the program that I was looking forward to so much with my best friend at the time, Colorama.
