Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, and I’m thrilled to be back for Week 278. This week’s theme, Funny Songs, as chosen by our recent spotlight artist, has me pumped to share my cover of Bruno Mars iconic The Lazy Song.

For this week, I picked The Lazy Song because to me it’s such a vibe kinda of song and which resonates with this week’s theme. Like, it’s the ultimate vibe for those days when you just want to chill, do nothing, and embrace the humor in being gloriously lazy, like you get?.

Furthermore, Bruno’s whole vibe in this track is pure fun, and it’s hard not to smile when you hear those cheeky lines about kicking back and letting the world wait. It’s the kind of song that feels like a high-five to your inner sloth, and I’m here for it. For this week’s theme, I couldn’t think of a better fit than this lighthearted banger.

¡Hola comunidad de Hive Open Mic, soy @wealthwess y estoy emocionado de estar de vuelta para la Semana 278. El tema de esta semana, Canciones Divertidas, elegido por nuestro reciente artista destacado, me tiene súper entusiasmado para compartir mi versión de la icónica La Canción Perezosa de Bruno Mars.

Para esta semana, elegí La Canción Perezosa porque para mí es una canción con una vibra increíble que encaja perfectamente con el tema de esta semana. Es como la vibra definitiva para esos días en los que solo quieres relajarte, no hacer nada y disfrutar del humor de ser gloriosamente perezoso, ¿me entiendes?

Además, toda la vibra de Bruno en esta canción es pura diversión, y es difícil no sonreír cuando escuchas esas líneas descaradas sobre relajarte y dejar que el mundo espere. Es el tipo de canción que se siente como un choque de palmas con tu perezoso interior, y estoy totalmente a favor. Para el tema de esta semana, no podría pensar en una mejor opción que este temazo desenfadado.
