Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, excited to return for Week 315 of this beautiful musical journey. It’s been a while since my last post, but I’m glad to be back, especially with such a captivating theme Moonlight. This week, I was inspired to perform a soulful cover of It Will Rain by Bruno Mars.

I chose It Will Rain because it just feels real. It’s about loving someone so much that the thought of losing them hits hard. The song carries that quiet pain, the kind you mostly feel at night when everywhere is calm and your mind won’t rest.

The Moonlight theme made me think of those moments when you’re alone, thinking about love, memories, and everything in between. Sometimes it’s peaceful, sometimes it’s heavy, but it’s always honest.

For this week, I kept it simple and sang from the heart. I focused on the emotion in the song and just let it flow naturally. I hope you feel it as you listen.
