This week marks the 259 week of our gathering at this incredible event within our community. I hope we continue to stay passionate about creating and embracing our love for music.
Hive Open Mic Week 259 brings us the theme spring bloom.

Spring, as we see it, may seem like just another season, but it is actually a celebration of new life. As the cold of winter fades, nature awakens with vibrant colors, fragrant blossoms, and boundless energy. From the first cherry blossoms to the bright, sunny days perfect for hiking, spring offers endless opportunities to refresh our minds, bodies, and souls. Even though it is a celebration of new life, we sometimes find ourselves longing for the past the time before spring arrived because we cherish those memories as well.

When spring comes, I always find myself singing songs that resonate with the season. For Week 259, I have chosen to perform a song called "Sementara" by the band Float. This song has always been one of my favorites during spring.
This song carries a beautiful meaning the vocalist conveys the message that difficult times will pass, and everything will return to a new and beautiful state. I believe this song perfectly matches the changing seasons. Although we face hardships in every season, the next one always brings beauty and triumph.

Float is an Indonesian band that was formed in 2004 with three members. Despite being a small band, they have managed to create extraordinary music. Their musical style spans multiple genres, including pop, rock, and folk, and sometimes they even incorporate blues into their concerts. I truly admire this band, and I hope you will enjoy their music too.
