Greetings, dear friends of Hive Open Mic! It is a pleasure for me to meet you all on the eve of Christmas, undoubtedly the most beautiful night of the year. This week's theme is precisely Christmas, and it seems to me an ideal time to reflect on peace and personal and family harmony.
I believe that if there is something that characterizes Christmas and in general the whole December season, it is the joy and the spirit of fraternity among people. I believe that this is an opportune time for harmony and for sharing the beautiful things in life, including the smallest ones. This is a time of rejoicing and union, of festivity and celebration, of enjoying the exquisite aromas and typical flavors full of tradition and much affection, a time of smiles and songs of aguinaldos, carols and parrandas dedicated to the divine child. I sincerely hope that next year will be better for all of you, and that faith, hope, health and love will always reign.
For this edition I bring you a cover of "Hoy es Navidad", a Spanish version of the classic Jingle Bells, adapted by the children's musical group HeyKids. I hope you like it. I wish you all a Merry and beautiful Christmas.
¡Saludos, queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic! Es un placer para mí encontrarme con todos ustedes en la víspera de la Navidad, sin dudas la noche más bonita del año. La temática de esta semana es precisamente Navidad, y me parece un momento ideal para reflexionar sobre la paz y la armonía personal y familiar.
Creo que si hay algo que caracteriza la navidad y en general a toda la temporada decembrina es la alegría y el espíritu de fraternidad entre las personas. Considero que este es un tiempo oportuno para la concordia y para compartir las cosas bonitas de la vida, incluidas las más pequeñas. Esta es una época de regocijo y de unión, de festividad y celebración, de disfrutar de los exquisitos aromas y sabores típicos llenos de tradición y mucho cariño, un tiempo de sonrisas y cánticos de aguinaldos, villancicos y parradas dedicadas al divino niño. Deseo de corazón que para todos ustedes el próximo año sea mejor, y que siempre reine la fe, la esperanza, la salud y el amor.
Para esta edición les traigo un cover de “Hoy es Navidad”, una versión es español del clásico Jingle Bells, adaptada por el grupo musical infantil HeyKids. Espero que les guste. Les deseo a todos una feliz y bonita navidad.
