Hola mi gente de Hive Open Mic!
Hoy, como siempre vengo dispuesto a compartir, rogando no llegar tarde a ésta, nuestra cita semanal
con la temática "A través de la lluvia" .

La canción que elegí en esta oportunidad es una composición original que creé motivada por un relato de un amigo músico.
Tocando en Caracas, un guitarrista y cantante chileno, apodado "Rodri", me conto acerca de un compañero de residencia que había tenido un desengaño amoroso
años atrás con el que había quedado marcado.

Su novia lo había abandonado y esto le causó tanto dolor y desesperación que salió a caminar
bajo un fuerte aguacero, sin pensar en las consecuencias. Cuando nos correspondió tocar el último set, interrumpimos la conversación
y no volvimos a hablar nuevamente del asunto. Meses después, estando en mi apartamento, undía lluvioso
recordé el relato de Rodri y con un poco de imaginación logré hacer esta canción dándole un final al relato.
A los pocos días logré crear la melodía con su secuencia armónica y el resultado es lo que les comparto.

con la piel mojada por la lluvia

solo quedan rastros de ese amor

La noche está tan fria
la ciudad es solo agua y soledad
su caminar lo lleva a cualquier lugar
a través de la lluvia se apaga su soñar

no quiere volver a casa y no encontrarla
porque sabe que la va a extrañar

Va cantando una canción de amor en la cual no esta su nombre
no es la primera vez que debe comenzar
pero sabe que ahora será diferente

a través del llanto y del dolor
ese adiós cambió su vida
y con la lluvia llora más su corazón.

Hello my Hive Open Mic people!
Today, as always I come ready to share, praying not to be late for this, our weekly appointment
with the theme “Through the rain”.

The song I chose this time is an original composition that I created motivated by a story of a musician friend.
Playing in Caracas, a Chilean guitarist and singer, nicknamed “Rodri”, told me about a fellow resident who had had a love breakup years ago and had been marked by it.
years ago that had left him scarred.

His girlfriend had left him and this caused him so much pain and despair that he went for a walk under a heavy downpour
in a heavy downpour, without thinking of the consequences. When it was our turn to play the last set, we interrupted the conversation and did not talk about it again.
and we never spoke about it again. Months later, while I was in my apartment, on a rainy day
I remembered Rodri's story and with a little imagination I managed to make this song giving an ending to the story.
A few days later I managed to create the melody with its harmonic sequence and the result is what I share with you.
