Hello, friends of Hive and the amazing Hive Open Mic community bloggers! Happy weekend and a blessed Sunday to everyone of us across the globe.

I welcome you warmly to my blog I am @oluthomas, a passionate lover of music and above all a devoted lover of God.

This week marks Week 254 of Hive Open Mic weekly prompt, and the theme is "Break Away." The moment I saw this theme, one song immediately came to my mind "Break Every Chain" by Tasha Cobbs, a renowned gospel artist.

Though the theme Break Away may carry different meanings for each of us, this song resounds deeply with me. In my denomination here in Nigeria, we often sing it during our vigils, and it always moves people because many of us carry chains that needed to be broken whether they be marital, financial, health related, or any other burden or chains that holds us back from fulfilling our Gods giving purpose in Life.

As we sing this song, we do so with so much faith, believing that at the mention of the name of Jesus, every chain will be broken and every obstacle will give way for better things to surface.

As you read through my post, I trust that the Almighty God will intervene in that situation that needs to break away in your life. May He open doors for you in Jesus' most precious name. Amen.
