How are you wonderful people of the hive. Especially to the people of this wonderful #openmic family. Today in week #211 of this mega concert!!!. I want to play the trumpet part of the Conga del Fuego nuevo by maestro Arturo Márquez.

A master of Mexican origin, who carries with him incredible works and has participated in so many others, of my favorites are the danzón number two, the danzón number seven, the conga del fuego nuevo and the Concierto de Otoño for trumpet, who composed for the master and my inspiration Francisco Flores (Pacho Flores).

And well friends, to say that playing this piece for me that I am a little rusty was a challenge, but more than that a reunion with my childhood, because when we formed the youth orchestra this and other works were predominant in the repertoire.

But then I dedicated myself only to listen to the work, the difficulty of it is the constant changes of tonality that it has and also the precision in the tempo, this rhythm of which the work is used is a Latin rhythm with Afro-descendant tuning. Let's remember that the Conga is original from Cuba.

Something to emphasize is that although there are simple works at first sight, if we do not practice them, they will not come out with their greatest potential, even if we are executing works a little more difficult at the moment. Or peluas as we say in the East.

I wanted to put a beginner in the direction as a filler so that the long periods of silence between phrases would not be noticed.
