Hello Hive Open Mic community!
It's another week with a lovely theme selected by our spotlight artist @wizj I love the theme as it is about what the world is surrounded with "Mother Earth/Nature" and I came up with a song that was definitely not sang for anything related to it but I found the connection.

"Lift Me Up By Rihanna" is a song that deeply connects to nature if you listen to the lyrics.

I didn't have a hard time coming up with a song after I listened to this song randomly while I was busy and somehow I could relate the words to mother earth. If we do explore nature, the air, the leaves and the feeling we get from watching nature display it's beauty, we should be able to understand how this song's lyrics says a lot about what we would like to tell nature when we are down.

No matter how weak, sad or uninspired I get, appreciating nature in one way or the other helps me and that I think is more than "Lifting me up" as the song says. Of course, it isn't just that, the song says more with the lyrics and I kept connecting it to the words I'd want to say to nature when I'm down.

If you know the song, feel free to join me in singing it. I tried to do the humming and all the background parts hoping that my listeners feel the song more as I did. Looking forward to your feedback on my cover, will be very much appreciated.

Lovely voice, lovely choice of song and connection. Of course, one fact is that there must always be a connection from one to song to another or theme but the issue most often is the ability to grasp the meaning and connection.

It is a beautiful song, we once presented it too, you did an incredible job giving that special touch with your sweet voice.

This song hits differently for me. It's actually a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, our Black Panther of Wakanda. It's basically the theme song for the Black Panther 2 released late last year. It's an emotional song for me.
