Somewhere Only We Know es un tema que decidí interpretar en parte por el contenido de su letra, me llevó a pensar que los seres humanos en algunos momentos buscamos un lugar tranquilo y seguro en medio del caos y la confusión de la vida. Esto me lleva a pensar en los lugares o momentos de nuestra infancia donde nos sentíamos felices y en paz y con el paso de los años nos vamos haciendo adultos y perdemos algo de la inocencia que nos hace sentir de tal forma con facilidad.

Somewhere Only We Know is a song that he decided to perform partly because of the content of its lyrics, it led me to think that human beings at times look for a calm and safe place in the midst of the chaos and confusion of life. This leads me to think about the places or moments in our childhood where we feel happy and at peace and as the years go by we become adults and lose some of the innocence that easily makes us feel that way.

Tener una vida llena de responsabilidades y de desafíos que trae la adultez, junto a toda una expectativa que te impone el sistema en el que vivimos, nos puede llegar a desviar de la verdadera esencia de nuestra vida.

Having a life full of responsibilities and challenges that adulthood brings, along with all the expectations that the system in which we live imposes on you, can divert us from the true essence of our life.

Pues que es la vida? No es más que un regalo que se nos dio? Y en que momento todo se vuelve tan complicado???

Well what is life? Is it nothing more than a gift that was given to us? And at what point does everything become so complicated???

Las decepciones, incertidumbres y desilusiones van apagando nuestra inocencia y la capacidad de ver el mundo con más esperanza.

Disappointments, uncertainties and disappointments extinguish our innocence and the ability to see the world with more hope.

Volvernos a sentir seguros es "el lugar que solo nosotros conocemos", sentirnos en paz con lo que somos y lo que tenemos, sin pensar tanto en el futuro y sin ser tan pesimistas al respecto, ver la vida con más entusiasmo y alegría, y apreciar las cosas más sencillas que esta nos pueda regalar, ya sea un atardecer, hablar con amigos, compartir con la familia, ver los pájaros o un abrazo.

Feeling safe again is "the place that only we know", feeling at peace with who we are and what we have, without thinking so much about the future and without being so pessimistic about it, seeing life with more enthusiasm and joy, and appreciate the simplest things that it can give us, whether it be a sunset, talking with friends, sharing with family, watching birds or a hug.
