Hive Open Mic #167 / Hopelessly Devoted To You, My Entry

Aloha everyone!
It's me again, sharing to you my entry for this week's challenge #167 with the theme "Otaku". This theme is chosen by our community's recent Spotlight Artist: @eudarcabello.

Otaku is a Japanese term for people with an obsessive interest, especially in anime, manga and video games. Sometimes the term otaku is equivalent to "geek" or "nerd". However, it can refer to any fan of a particular theme, subject, hobby or form of entertainment.

I had to search Google on this theme because it's my first time hearing this word... Haha. Pardon me but you know at my age and as a busy mom and entrepreneur I am not really a fan of japanese manga or games but my son is though. He even has an online shop dedicated to Manga.

Since the theme is about obsessive interest. My song is about a person in love obsessively in love with a person even if that person doesn't love her back. I guess is is really so hard to get over something or someone you like and love so much.

This song came from the movie Grease released 1978 starting John Travolta (as Danny)and Olivia Newton John (as Sandy).

The meaning is simple, she loves this guy who has hurt her and rejected, her but she is so in infatuated with him, she cant let him go!

I am a fan of Ms. Olivia Newton John and this is in a way my tribute to her passing. I love all her songs and I bet a lot of you loves them as well.

Love love your rendition, when you are still a young girl i think about 5 yrs old you dance well the dance in Saturday Night Fever starring Olivia Newton John and John Travolta and her songs, too.

Haha, really?! Well, I remembered I was up and about just doing anything you can't really have me sit still for I am always moving, always dancing and dancing. Haha! It is always painful to love someone and you wont get back the love from the person, you will feel so bad, the meaning of the team, i had to check for explanation also to understand what it really means. You did well in the video and nice choice of song
