It is important for me to put my face to my words today. I have always identified as Canadian. I was proud of the democracy that nurtured me and the good, everyday people I shared the title Canadian with. (I will admit the First Nations of Canada were not treated well.) But on the whole I thought we were doing better than most. Getting somewhere better even.

We all know I stood behind the Trucker's Convoy, as they stood for bodily-autonomy. Without bodily-autonomy, freedom is a façade, a play on words and concepts. If you don't control your own body, what you put in it or where it can go. You are a slave. I mean no disrespect to those that have also had their labour exploited and their bodies violated in more extreme ways.

Compliance may grant privileges, but you are controlled, call it owned, by the institution or state that can revoke privileges. Fear, just like with greed or lust, is no excuse for enslaving others and infringing on bodily autonomy.

I can no longer claim that I live in a democracy. I live in a state that grants privileges to those that comply; oh they'll let us throw tantrums ... protest ... but those protests must be short-lived and ineffective. You must go home at sunset, or you become an occupier ... of you own country.

Or don't stand up for civil rights you thought you were guaranteed, and live as an outcast. Even better. Every dictator needs a scapegoat.

What follows is my facebook page from today. Who knows how many will see it. I post so they can never again gaslight us into believing we are alone and that truth is conspiracy.

Stay strong, gentle, and united with humanity, and not political affiliations. We are making it better.

Perhaps from your political standpoint, you view what happened today with Emergency's Act Inquiry as a win. It was a win for #cronyism and #authoritarianism. Paul Rouleau has just made every citizen of Canada incredibly vulnerable to governmental tyranny. EVEN YOU. This is a very dark day for Canada, regardless of what side of the political spectrum you sit. Let's see if together we can turn that around.

For the record, I remain aligned with social democracy, legitimate science, civil liberties, diversity, and bodily autonomy; I consider myself an ally. But I will not align with corporate capture and tyranny, simply because certain political figures give lip service to my values.

I will not align with a political class that spreads propaganda, widely disproportionate fear, marketing masquerading as science, scapegoating, and discrimination through state-funded media. Tars good people with undeserved labels. Gavlit would stand in awe over the control the Canadian governmental has over our supposed trusted media sources. Yes, I am talking about CBC, CTV, Global and many of our print sources.

I will not remain silent while the brokers of power manipulate good people to fight each other through a culture war, and turn otherwise good, decent folks against their friends and family. When you ostracize someone because you see them as politically unacceptable, unvaccinated, diseased ... you serve the self-named elite's twisted agenda of wealth accumulation and political control. They divide to conquer. Not conspiracy, Been done for centuries, if not millennia

I am not sure how many of you will see this given Facebook's censorship algorithms. If you do, likely you already see what I see. You get it. I will remind you to go gentle and plead with you NOT to continue to fight the culture war.

If your saying to yourself ... is she still at this ... yes of course, I am still at it. Humanity, honesty, and peace are worth speaking up for, even if it makes me look foolish in your eyes, and you see a conspiracy theorist. At least I can say I tried.

I can tell you that looking foolish isn't all that bad, been knowingly doing it now for a couple years. You are worth it. Admitting you were wrong isn't all that bad either ... if it is also about forgiveness for yourself, for those that you judged unfairly, and for those who unfairly judged you. I'm a soft place for that. LOVE.

We can do this; we can build a better world, but not if we stay tethered to our fears and prejudices, and a very, very corrupt system of leadership. The party system serves cronyism, capture, and corruption. It does not serve the people.

Let's change that, shall we?

I have attached a picture of my face; facebook likes that. This time in black and white ... to remind you that things aren't really so. Diversity, especially diversity of thought, is humanity's true strength. By listening and not silencing each other, we find the solutions and empathy that can carry us out of this mess and to a better future. I love you so much and I for my part am sorry for those times I too was also to fear.
