Part of the Dead Poets Society Collection By Adida Fallen Angel

I was a teenager the first time I heard her voice
Raw, haunting, beautiful in a way that didn’t ask for permission
Dolores O'Riordan didn’t just sing
She carved space in the world with that voice

Zombie hit like a lightning bolt
It was angry and sad and defiant, all at once
And somehow, it made me feel less alone

She was a force
A rebel with a mic
Vulnerable and powerful
The kind of artist that didn’t fit into a mold
And didn’t care to

This illustration is my way of honoring her
A portrait not just of her face
But of her presence
She belongs in my Dead Poets Society collection
A growing series of tributes to the ones who shook the world through art, music, and culture
The ones who left too soon but never truly left

Dolores reminded us that pain can be beautiful
And that honesty has a sound
This is for her
For that sound
And for every soul she woke up along the way

Ink on Paper then colored digitally.
