A story of self discovery, magic and pure love (Encanto)

Greetings everyone!
Today i want to review a heartwarming, emotional and stunning animation, because of it's unique cultural depths, powerful messages and, of course, it's beautiful music!

Encanto

This is a disney movie directed by Byron Howard and jared bush. This animation dives deep into the magical Madrigal family where everyone has a unique magical gift except for one person (Mirabel).
Though Mirabel didn't get a gift, she was eager to prove to everyone, that gift or no gift, she's as important as everyone. When the family magic began to fade, Mirabel embarked on a mission to save the family magic.

Aside the lessons this movie brings, one thing that kept me hooked are the heartwarming and unforgettable songs by lin manuel miranda. At the end of my review. I will show you my favorite of all the songs and why i choose it.

Characters and performance

Mirabel - a determined protagonist who was eager to help the family despite not having a gift and by so doing, prove to the family that she belongs.

Abuela alma- Mirabel’s grand mother. She brought the family together .

Bruno - Mirabel’s uncle- he's gift was to see the future but his family misquote him all the time. His story is one of the most interesting.

Luisa - Mirabel’s sister - she's blessed with the strength of a gorilla. She can carry anything

Isabela- Mirabel’s sister- the beautiful perfect queen loved by every member of the family except Mirabel, who thinks she's selfish.

Others- other members of the Madrigal family has their unique gift. Members like Mirabel’s mum who can help anything with her meal etc.

Music

The animation featured different heartwarming music like "we don't talk about bruno" "welcome to the family Madrigal" "dos Oruguitas" and my favorite pressure like a dip that never stops" and other amazing music.

I titled my favorite because i see a little bit of me in that song. As an older child, the younger ones looks upto you for so many things. The pressure is much but we keep moving.

Animation

The animation is superb. The cultural clothes, the arrangement, the Casita. Everything is just perfect.

• The story of Mirabel teaches that being special isn't just about the gift but about the love.

• The part of bruno teaches that the family weirdos are often misinterpreted. All they need is a little more listening ears and kind words.

• The part of luisa and Isabela shows that no one is perfectly perfect. Though the might seem perfect on the outside, yet they have some problems on the inside.

If you love interesting animations with meaningful themes, lovely musics, bright and beautiful colors, i highly encanto. If you’ve watched this movie, i would love you to tell me what you love about it.
