The human being's quest to find plenitude, peace and purpose seems to have no end; The same letter describes it precisely: "Our insatiable hearts are sons, until they know their Salvador." We try to fill the soul with things that fade with time, forgetting that an infinite void can only be filled by an eternal God.

This tower on the ground tells us of a moment of rescue, a bell of an absolute truth that remains unalterable through ages.
La búsqueda del ser humano por encontrar plenitud, paz y propósito parece no tener fin; la misma letra lo describe con precisión: "Nuestros corazones insaciables son, hasta que conocen a su Salvador". Vivimos en un mundo pasajero, donde las glorias, los aplausos y las posesiones son temporales. Intentamos llenar el alma con cosas que se desvanecen con el tiempo, olvidando que un vacío infinito solo puede ser llenado por un Dios eterno.
Es allí donde esta canción cobra un significado glorioso al conectarse con nuestro tema de la semana: "Por los siglos de los siglos".
Esta alabanza no solo nos habla de un momento de rescate, sino de una verdad absoluta que permanece inalterable a través de las edades.
When we sing that "That's the water we drink, we never have more sed", we are recognizing Jesus Christ as the eternal source of life. The circumstances of life change, the years pass and the generations pass, but the love with which we were reached with open arms continues and will remain in force today, tomorrow and for eternity.
The point of the song repeats to us with strength a consoling truth: "As we are, we love each other, today we approach each other without fear". This grace that broke the fear did not end in expiry. The sacrifice on the cross, from which He received our punishment and gave us His inheritance, was a perfect act, a pact sealed with blood that does not need to be repeated because its effect is continuous, permanent and eternal.

Las circunstancias de la vida cambian, los años pasan y las generaciones se van, pero el amor con el que fuimos alcanzados con brazos abiertos sigue y seguirá vigente hoy, mañana y por la eternidad.
El puente de la canción nos repite con fuerza una verdad consoladora: "Tal y como somos nos amó, hoy nos acercamos sin temor". Esa gracia que rompió el temor no tiene fecha de caducidad. El sacrificio en la cruz, donde Él recibió nuestro castigo y nos entregó Su herencia, fue un acto perfecto, un pacto sellado con sangre que no necesita ser repetido porque su efecto es continuo, permanente y eterno.
Explicar esta canción a la luz de "Por los siglos de los siglos" es recordar que la suficiencia de Jesús no es temporal. Él bastó para los creyentes del pasado, basta para sostenernos con poder en el presente, y seguirá bastando para las generaciones futuras.
