I got new strings and the sound has improved - Drums and Guitar Track [ENG/ESP]

I discovered that playing the electric guitar with new strings is much easier than trying to do it with strings from 4 years ago, rusty and old. 😅

My friend, you have no idea how much I used to struggle practicing and recording with those strings. It was pure ignorance on my part.

This is the first time I'm recording with freshly purchased strings. A few days ago, I managed to gather 10 HBD with some posts.

Amigo, no sabes cuanto sufría practicando y grabando con esas cuerdas. Pura ignorancia de mi parte.

Esta es primera vez que grabo con unas cuerdas recién compradas. Hace unos días logre reunir 10 HBD con algunos post.

I also realized that I didn't remember how to string the guitar. My friend, I had truly left this music-making thing behind. Partly, this decentralized web and its community have been somewhat of an inspiration for me to dedicate myself to something I really like.

Of course, the more time I have to practice, the better it will sound. A few days ago, I remembered an image.

I had this idea of studying music and graduating in it. So, I created a Facebook page to share things related to music and its study.

También me di cuenta que no recordaba como era colocar unas cuerdas. Amigo, realmente había dejado atrás esto de hacer música. En parte esta web descentralizada y su comunidad han sido de alguna manera una inspiración para dedicarme a algo que realmente me gusta.

Por supuesto, cuanto más tiempo tengas para practicar, mejor sonará. Hace días recordé una imagen.

Yo tenía esta idea de estudiar música y graduarme de ello. Entonces había hecho una página de Facebook para compartir cosas relacionadas con la música y el estudio de la misma.

I had completed all the levels of classical guitar at a local institute in the city where I live. So, I was a good moderator on the topic.

I became friends with many other pages that posted similar content; I remember my page was called "Lenguaje Musical" (Musical Language). Because music is a language, you write it and read it.

And this image I remembered is one that was posted by a friend's page. It was about maintaining motivation and talked about how usually when we encounter an obstacle, we lose motivation.

So, the image gave some advice on how to stay motivated even when you see that the first result you get isn't so good, and it's a barrier between the result you want and yourself.

The advice was mainly not to seek to "be the best" but to "aim to get better." To do that, you have to be creative and see every undesired outcome as a learning experience. This way, with time, you progress and reach the desired result.

Había completado todos los niveles de guitarra clásica de un tecnológico en la cuidad donde vivo. Así que era un buen moderador del tema.

Me hice amigo de muchas otras páginas que publicaban contenido similar, recuerdo que mi página se llama "Lenguaje Musical". Por esto de que la música es un lenguaje. Ya que se escribe y se lee.

Y esta imagen que recordé es justo una que fue publicada por una página amiga. Se trataba sobre mantener la motivación y hablaba sobre que normalmente cuando nos topamos con algún obstáculo nos desmotivamos.

La imagen daba algunos consejos sobre cómo mantener la motivación aunque el primer resultado que obtengas no sea tan bueno y suponga un obstáculo entre tú y el resultado que deseas.

El principal consejo era no buscar "ser el mejor" sino "buscar ser mejor". Para ello hay que ser creativo y considerar cada resultado no deseado como una experiencia de aprendizaje. Así, con el paso del tiempo, se avanza y se alcanza el resultado deseado.

The community has been great. I remember when I decided to reconnect with music, I asked in the Telegram group which interface would be the best to start with.

And there are many useful articles from Music Zone that I haven't read yet. So, I think there's more than enough to start with.

Perhaps I don't have the best camera yet, or the best lighting. But those are things that will come. Just like my laptop and my Focusrite Scarlett interface.

I think the HIVE community has been the foundation for this. Along with my decisions, the ones that have turned out well. The ones that haven't also helped me understand what not to do.

Well, in my blog, there are many experimental posts. I've invited many familiar people to join this web3. I didn't see many of them again. I went through the process of blogging with one of them.

I still have the feeling of constantly learning. The next thing I'll probably buy is some headphones for the interface and a microphone. Since I can also sing.

I have a cheap microphone with an auxiliary connection that was left at my house. I could use it to record vocals and see how it goes, and practice with that.

Eso unido a otro consejo, que es empezar con lo que tienes. Es una buena combinación para avanzar hacia lo que quieres.

La comunidad ha sido genial. Recuerdo que cuando decidí volver a interactuar con la música, pregunte en el grupo de Telegram cual sería la mejor interfaz para empezar.

Y hay muchos artículos útiles que aún no he leído de Music Zone. Entonces creo que hay más que suficiente para empezar.

Quizás no tenga la mejor cámara aún, o la mejor iluminación. Pero son cosas que irán llegando. Así como mi Laptop o mi interfaz Focusrite Scarlett.

Creo que la comunidad HIVE ha sido la base de todo esto. Junto con mis decisiones, las que han salido bien. Las que no, también me han ayudado a entender qué no hacer.

Y bueno en mi blog, hay mucho post experimental. He invitado a muchas personas conocidas a unirse a esta web3. A muchos de ellos no los volví a ver. Con una viví el proceso de hacer blogs.

Sigo teniendo la sensación de estar aprendiendo constantemente. Lo próximo que probablemente me compre serán unos auriculares de interfaz y algún micrófono. Ya que también puedo cantar.

Tengo el micrófono barato con conexión auxiliar que se quedó en mi casa. Podría usarlo para grabar voces a ver qué tal va y practicar con él.
