Let's Take A Look At I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time

Evening, hope you are well and thankyou for stopping by.
Tonight, I bring you another new series that I came across on Crunchyroll after one of their usual recommendations.
I hope you are ready for one hell of a mouthful, but here is the title:
I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time or Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu
Now that's one hell of a long ass name, but so far it seems to be worth it.
The story starts with Alina Clover, a receptionist at the Adventurer's Guild. Alina chose this job as it was a job for life, good pay, good work benefits, steady and regular income and best of all, she would be able to finish at a reasonable time every day! Now, who wouldn't want that in their life, eh?
This is a very big difference to the adventurers that she helps every day at work, which drives her mad.
Her dream of no overtime is constantly ruined by the said adventurers who are incompetent and cannot beat the dungeon bosses, which in turn causes way more paperwork for Alina.
The more overtime Alina gets, it wears thin on her patience, until she has to don her disguise and take out the dungeon bosses herself. She is known as the 'Executioner' to the world around her. Singlehandedly taking out dungeon boss after dungeon boss solely so that she doesn't have to work any more overtime.
Alina's life is ruined on one of her dungeon boss runs. As the party fighting the boss struggles to finish it off, she has to step in to sort it out.
The group she saves is from the Silver Sword guild. Their party is led by Jade Scrade, whose observations of the Executioner reveal just who is behind the disguise!
For 2 years, Alina has managed to keep her identity as the Executioner secret, but now it has been exposed and has put her dream of living a carefree life in jeopardy.
Year of release: 2025
Aired: January 2025 to March 2025
Number of seasons: 1
Number of episodes: 12
Studio: CloverWorks
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy, and Fantasy
Episode run time: 24 minutes per episode
Age rating: PG-13
My rating: 7/10 so far
4 episodes in, and it has been a blast so far. Plenty of comedy moments, from Alina promising to end the lives of people who try to expose her secret identity and who are a risk to her easy-going life.
Then we have some pretty dark moments, which are great as well. It's a refreshing Anime series after the last terrible one I finished. This one looks to at least have a storyline line which is great.

Not only is this a good looking Anime, the soundtrack is pretty nice too.
We start off with the intro, which does swap with the ending song on different episodes, which at first confused me, but they are both good songs so it's pretty cool.
Perfect Day by 310 is a lovely song, a great tune and really suits this series.
Next up, we have the ending song/intro swap.
Ashita no Watashi ni Sachi Are by Akari Nanawo
Not only is this a great upbeat song, but the video is really great and funny.
That's all for today folks, I'll be back with some more series in the future.

It looks like a very interesting anime and the animation is very convincing, thanks for the recommendation 😊

So it may seem like I'm speedy but I'm not, I'm usually just a little delayed on my writing
It is a really enjoyable series
It's looking very interesting I will add it to my bucket list. Wonderful post ❤️
Hope you enjoy it
Yeah always. Thank you so much.
Why do I feel like I am going to hate this anime just by reading the name and the summary of the plot you provided. I bet there is also going to be a lot of fan service, something I hate
Damn I am not watching this
Please tell me I'm wrong🥺
For once, a series that Crunchyroll recommends me that is no fan service. Just an overall good and humorous anime. Well worth a watch
Thanks Mate....
Cause of you i already lost 3 hours today 🤣🤣😅🫶🏼

It sounds like a fun and refreshing series! The premise of a guild receptionist who secretly hunts dungeon bosses to avoid overtime is quite original and allows for many comedic and epic situations.
I like that you mention the soundtrack, as it always adds a special touch to any anime. How would you describe the animation and visual style? Do you feel it maintains the same level of quality in the combat and comedic moments?
I love my music, and sadly there are some series that have amazing soundtracks but the series turns out so poor.
The visuals again throughout are well done, not too bright, but enjoyable.
Nice on the eyes really
se ve buena, excelente post!
looks good, excellent post!
Appreciated 😃
It looks and sounds great but the name is a major repellant 😂😂😂
Sounds like something I'd rather read than watch😂😂
Surprisingly, I actually really enjoyed it. The title is a bit much, but plenty of humour and action throughout
