That sunset in your room,
you appeared dressed
in seductive, suggestive leather,
your lucid and confident gaze
was insinuating, captivating, dazzling.
In your eyes was reflected
the waning moon peeping out
in the shadows behind the window,
in the half-light your body beside me
lay with amber tones.
Early morning rumours
broke the night,
while the jasmines dozed
giving off their scents
when you called my name.
The damp mists
turned the lanterns opaque
and your lips and mine joined together
sizzling between soft duvets.
