ThreeTunesTuesday | Hecho en Barki (con algo curioso en común)
Saludos comunidad musical, esta semana quisiera recomendar tres canciones que vienen de artistas de mi ciudad, Barquisimeto, la cual de cariño llamamos Barki, intentaré cada mes traer artistas locales a este espacio para darlos a conocer en la comunidad Web3 y el mundo entero gracias a esta maravillosa plataforma.
Greetings musical community, this week I would like to recommend three songs that come from artists from my city, Barquisimeto, which we call Barki, I will try to bring local artists every month to this space to make them known in the Web3 community and the whole world thanks to this wonderful platform.
1 - "Mar de Perlas" by Who1 Ruiz
Who1 Ruiz es uno de esos artistas que te dejan copiando el link para enviarlo a todo el mundo. Conocido como diseñador gráfico e ilustrador para la marca de ropa "Básico Clothing", su faceta musical es algo que tomó a muchos por sorpresa; con un estilo R&B moderno y fresco, con un beat de Ozzy90 y un onirico pero sencillo videoclip de una sola toma, la letra nos recuerda a los clásicos romances del R&B del 2000's, con un toque de lo moderno pero con algo que no muchos tienen hoy en día, una voz increíble.
El video fue filmado y editado por mi persona, Exzor Latiegue, en el jardin de mi casa y con ayuda de RunwayML para generar algunos elementos con IA, pronto subiré aqui parte del proceso de edición.
Who1 Ruiz is one of those artists who you copy the link to send it to everyone. Known as a graphic designer and illustrator for the clothing brand "Básico Clothing", his musical facet is something that took many by surprise; with a modern and fresh R&B style, with a beat of Ozzy90 and a dreamlike but simple one-take video clip, the lyrics remind us of the classic R&B romances of the 2000's, with a touch of the modern but with something that not many have today, an incredible voice.
The video was filmed and edited by me, Exzor Latiegue, in the garden of my house and with the help of RunwayML to generate some elements with AI, I will soon upload here part of the editing process.
2- "Tontivano" by Naomi Collins ft. Ak!ra
Dominando el mundo de la música desde muy pequeña, Naomi Collins se ha consagrado como una de las artistas más versatiles y completas de nuestra ciudad, pasando por el Blues, Drill, Baladas Acústicas, Pop y mucho más, pero principalmente tomando la corona del Rap Femenino en la ciudad.
Esta producción tiene de todo, referencias a la cultura pop Venezolana con un sample de Mimi Lazo en "Voltea pa ' que te Enamores", un videoclip extravagante que muestra uno de los rincones mas increíbles de la ciudad de Barquisimeto: nuestra Playa Artificial "Arena Parque Acuático", un estilo de trap increíble también de la mano de Ozzy90, el fantástico equipo de trabajo con Paola "Pokalandia" Longa en dirección de fotografía y Luis Repi en las cámaras, todo esto se une a la dupla increíble de la artista Naomi Collins con barras agresivas y empoderadas, con un concepto único que refuerza su lugar como La Chamakita de Barki, acompañada por Ak!ra quien viajó desde la ciudad de Maracaibo a Barki solo para hacer real esta obra, la canción y el videoclip fueron grabados en apenas dos días.
El videoclip fue, también, dirigido y editado por mi persona, sin duda uno de los trabajos que más me llena de orgullo.
Dominating the world of music from a very young age, Naomi Collins has established herself as one of the most versatile and complete artists in our city, going through Blues, Drill, Acoustic Ballads, Pop and much more, but mainly taking the crown of Female Rap in the city.
This production has everything, references to Venezuelan pop culture with a sample of Mimi Lazo in "Voltea pa ' que te Enamores", an extravagant video clip that shows one of the most incredible corners of the city of Barquisimeto: our Artificial Beach "Arena Parque Acuático", an incredible trap style also by the hand of Ozzy90, the fantastic work team with Paola "Pokalandia" Longa in cinematography and Luis Repi in the cameras, all this joins the incredible duo of the artist Naomi Collins with aggressive and empowered bars, with a unique concept that reinforces her place as La Chamakita de Barki, accompanied by Ak!ra who traveled from the city of Maracaibo to Barki just to make this work real, The song and the video clip were recorded in just two days.
The video clip was also directed and edited by me, no doubt one of the works that makes me proud.
3- "El Mundo no es Perfecto" by Osk
Esta es una de esas canciones que se queda en nuestra mente en repeat, sea por sus lindas melodías, por la excepcional voz del intérprete o porque te tomes personal la dolorosa letra que escribió Osk; con toda una maquinaria de amigos en la producción se hizo real este proyecto, la producción musical trabajada a distancia por talentoso Clancy, otros amigos actuando como la banda, incluso la novia de otro amigo siendo la coprotagonista del video, si hay un significado de amistad es el como se hizo este hermoso trabajo.
¿y adivinen que? correcto, yo filmé y edité este video, también participé en la masterización del tema al igual que el resto de este EP que no pueden dejar fuera de sus playlists.
This is one of those songs that stays in our mind on repeat, either because of its beautiful melodies, because of the exceptional voice of the performer or because you take personally the painful lyrics that Osk wrote; with a whole machinery of friends in the production this project became real, the musical production worked remotely by the talented Clancy, other friends acting as the band, even the girlfriend of another friend being the co-star of the video, if there is a meaning of friendship it is how this beautiful work was made.
And guess what? correct, I filmed and edited this video, I also participated in the mastering of the song as well as the rest of this EP that you cannot leave out of your playlists.
Con estas tres recomendaciones me despido, espero poder estar acá la próxima semana con algo un poco más pesado, tal vez un top 3 de bandas de metal que no se les entiende nada (que gran idea) si, definitvamente eso haré.
