Peter Fox Life at Essener Baldeneysee (And weekly Giveaway No. 147)

Es ist mittlerweile schon ein paar Wochen her, da war ich auf dem Konzert von Peter Fox am Essener Baldeneysee. Eine absolut tolle Location für ein Open-Air-Konzert.

Ich war zwar schon bei mehreren Seeed-Konzerten aber dieses war mein erstes Peter-Fox-Solo-Konzert.

Sobald Peter Fox auf der Bühne stand und das erste Lied performt hat, war Party angesagt. Leider fand ich das Konzert aber ziemlich kurz. Nach ca. 1 Stunde war das "reguläre" Konzert zu ende und es folgten danach noch zwei Zugaben. Gefühlt waren die Konzerte bei Seeed immer etwas länger.

Trotzdem war das Konzert ein absolutes Highlight und ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, mal ein Seeed- oder Peter Fox Konzert zu besuchen.

It's been a few weeks now since I was at the concert of Peter Fox at the Baldeneysee in Essen. An absolutely great location for an open-air concert.

I have been to several Seeed concerts but this was my first Peter Fox solo concert.

As soon as Peter Fox was on stage and performed the first song, it was party time. Unfortunately I found the concert quite short. After about 1 hour the "regular" concert was over and two encores followed afterwards. I felt that Seeed's concerts were always a bit longer.

Nevertheless, the concert was an absolute highlight and I can only recommend everyone to visit a Seeed or Peter Fox concert.

Was mich und meine Frau jedoch aufgeregt hat, sind diese Vollpfosten, die meinen, die müssten das ganze Konzert mit ihrem Smartphone aufnehmen. Die gucken nicht auf die Bühne sondern die ganze Zeit nur auf ihr Display.

Leider hatten wir einen dieser Vollpfosten direkt vor uns und wenn der seine Arme oben gehalten hat, um etwas aufzunehmen, war meiner Frau die Sicht versperrt. Nach einiger Zeit hatte ich ihn dann doch gebeten, das sein zu lassen. Besonders einsichtig hat er sich nicht gezeigt, allerdings hat er danach nur noch eine Aufnahme gemacht und ist auch ca. 15 Minuten vor Ende dann abgehauen.

Unfortunately, we had one of these jerks directly in front of us and when he held his arms up to record something, my wife's view was blocked. After a while, I asked him to stop doing that. He didn't show any particular understanding, but after that he only took one more picture and then left about 15 minutes before the end.

Dieses Video hat sogar ungefähr die Position, an der wir gestanden haben. Wer weiß, vielleicht war es sogar der Typ vor uns.

Es ist ja ganz nett, wenn man noch einmal bei Youtube ins Konzert reingucken kann, aber der Ton ist nicht besonders gut und es sind auch immer nur kurze Ausschnitte. Für mich hat es keinen Wert.

Wie seht ihr das, nehmt ihr auch die Band mit eurem Smartphone auf oder nervt euch das auch so wie mich/uns?

Cool 👍 . Seeed hatte ich auch schon mehrfach gesehen, aber das ist schon lange her. Und an dem See war ich auch schon auf Konzerten. Sehr schön da.

Der Baldeney-See ist toll, nur der Bustransfer zurück zum Parkhaus war schon echt anstrengend (fast 1 Stunde gewartet).
