5 years of curation and a reset [Eng-Esp] #256
More than five years ago, I received an invitation to curate five posts every Wednesday on any topic I wanted, from any community and in any language, for the @MSP-Curation project, run by our friends at @Minnowsupport (@Palnet). The first publication I did was on April 1, 2020, just a few days after Hive was born as an independent blockchain You can see it here!.
Although there were no restrictions, I imposed one on myself: not to repeat voting for authors who had already received my vote. This was with a view to reaching as many users as possible and to force myself to look “beyond” the authors I already knew.
On two occasions, I have done a “reset,” as I am going to do today. That is, starting today, I am starting over with the list, and those authors who have already received a vote once are eligible again. This has had a great effect on me because, even though it is possible to repeat some authors (you know that there are many users who constantly create quality content), few do so. In total, I have voted for 940 authors over the previous 255 editions. Of those, there are 856 unique authors, meaning that fewer than 90 received more than one vote in these five years.
For this reason, I wanted to make a special post today and start this new cycle with this post, as a celebration. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank @victoriabsb, who extended the invitation to me, and @juliakponsford, who is always there to answer my questions and urgent requests.
Without further ado, here is my selection for this week's 256th edition of @msp-curation.

Five years of continuous curation is indeed long enough. There are hundreds or probably thousands of quality content being published every single day here in Hive, and I wonder about the standards on when and how to spot a worthy curated content. I also love the fact that you manage to curate different authors as possible and explore wide variety of niches to support not just for fairness and chance, but also to be diverse and open to all.
Thank you very much @ylich for selecting my post, and I congratulate you for your constant and committed work. Five years with MSP-Curation, this celebration opening a new cycle and all that you have done for this blochchain in many other aspects speak of your quality as a person as well.
Greetings and my appreciation always. 🫂
