I don't know if this happens to you, but there are days when I wake up with a song stuck in my head and it won't go away until I let it go. Today it was this classic... Yesterday, a song that came to Paul in a dream, and he quickly played the melody on the piano so he wouldn't forget it.

Although its original title was going to be Huevos Revueltos (Scrambled Eggs), they later changed it because of its profound lyrics.

I sat down for a moment to let it all out, and this is what came out, just like that, without much fuss or editing. Just me, my guitar, and the feeling that, sometimes, yesterday feels much closer than we think.

It's a super intimate, quiet version... perfect for listening to in a calm and peaceful setting. I love how something written so long ago can touch the heart so deeply. After all, we all have a "yesterday" we'd like to revisit for a little while.

No sé si a ustedes les pasa, pero hay días en que me levanto con una canción atravesada en la cabeza y no se me quita hasta que la suelto. Hoy le tocó a este clásico... Yesterday un tema que le salió a Paul en un sueño y rápidamente tocó la melodía en el piano para no olvidarla.

Aunque al principio su nombre original sería Huevos Revueltos posteriormente le cambiaron el nombre por la letra tan profunda que tiene.
Me senté un momento a descargar y salió esto, así, sin mucha vuelta ni edición. Solo yo, mi guitarra y el sentimiento de que, a veces, el ayer se siente mucho más cerca de lo que uno cree.

Es una versión súper íntima, bajito... como para escucharla en un ambiente tranquilo y de paz. Me encanta cómo algo que se escribió hace mucho tiempo puede tocar tanto el corazón. A fin de cuentas, todos tenemos un "ayer" al que nos gustaría volver un ratico.
