The Rose - Bette Midler (Cover) [ENG/SPA]
Bienvenidos a mi blog musical.
Welcome to my music blog. Today I'm sharing my trumpet rendition of "The Rose," a pop ballad about the power of love composed by Amanda McBroom and made popular by Bette Midler. The song is a powerful and moving tribute to the beauty and complexity of love. It's a reminder that love is a risk worth taking, even if it means getting hurt. This piece is in the key of E major and has a moderate tempo, which helps create a sense of calm and reflection. The melody is based on a descending scale, which creates a feeling of longing and sadness. The song uses a variety of harmonic techniques, such as modulation, chromaticism, and borrowed chords. I have had the opportunity to enjoy covers of Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, and Westlife. Love is not always easy. It can be complicated and requires a lot of work. But it is worth it, because it can bring us great happiness and satisfaction in our lives.
One of my favorite books and perhaps one of the first ones I read as a child is The Little Prince by the French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. There is a secret that the Fox reveals to the little prince "It was the time you spent with your rose that made it so important." Without a doubt, the time we invest in some things and even in people is what makes it important. Cultivating a love for music takes time. I particularly spend my time exploring different genres and artists, learning about the language of music, and playing my musical instrument. Another experience that can be significant is going to concerts, in my city there are both public and private concerts. I love the Hive blockchain, because there are so many music content creators out there. I always take time to listen to them and to appreciate their talent, effort and dedication. Love is equal to time. It's always worth it.
The Rose
Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you, its only seed
It's the heart, afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It's the dream, afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
That never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose
