A cordial greeting to all. I am happy to participate this week #213 in the Hive Open Mic community. This time we explore the theme: "Self Love", chosen by a talented friend and recently featured artist in our community: @maitt87. Today I share with you my interpretation with the trumpet of "Unwritten", a song that mixes genres such as Pop, Blues, and R&B composed by Natasha Bedingfield, Danielle Brisebois, and Wayne Rodríguez. The song uses the metaphor of a blank page to represent a person's life. The message is inspiring, it talks about taking the reins of our destiny and writing our story without limitations. Without a doubt, its message speaks of self-love. The decisions we make in our lives build our destiny. When we start writing in our book, then our self-esteem leans positively. The tempo of the song is moderate with an overall feeling of lightness and optimism. I haven't heard this song for a long time, it has some interesting combinations of note figures that I had to review for a couple of days.

Un cordial saludo para todos. Me siento feliz de participar esta semana# 213 en la comunidad de Hive Open Mic. En esta oportunidad exploramos la temática: "Self Love", elegida por la talentosa amiga y reciente artista destacada de nuestra comunidad: @maitt87. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Unwritten», una canción que mezcla géneros como el Pop, el Blues y el R&B compuesta por Natasha Bedingfield, Danielle Brisebois, y Wayne Rodríguez. La canción utiliza la metáfora de una página en blanco para representar la vida de una persona. El mensaje es inspirador, este habla sobre tomar las riendas de nuestro propio destino y escribir nuestra historia sin limitaciones. Sin duda, su mensaje habla de amor propio. Las decisiones que tomamos en nuestra vida construyen nuestro destino. Cuando empezamos a escribir en nuestro libro, entonces nuestra autoestima se inclina de manera positiva. El tempo de la canción es moderado con una sensación general de ligereza y optimismo. Tenía mucho tiempo sin escuchar esta canción, tiene unas combinaciones de figuras de notas interesantes que tuve que repasar por un par de días.
Self-love is the fundamental basis for a full and happy life. When we love ourselves, we accept ourselves as we are, with our strengths and weaknesses. One of the things I have learned in my life is that one must cultivate love for oneself. It is difficult to take love from an empty container, it is necessary to fill it and then share it with other people. It is not an easy task to have self-love when we live in a pragmatic and materialistic world. But you can work on that. Some things that have allowed me to fill the container of love are focusing on my strengths, on the things I can achieve, and also being true to myself and my values. Not be afraid to take risks, pursue my dreams with passion, and surround myself with positive people. I don't think comparing yourself to others is a winning formula, it's better to focus on our goals and celebrate our successes. I hope you enjoy my interpretation this week.

El amor propio es la base fundamental para una vida plena y feliz. Cuando nos amamos a nosotros mismos, nos aceptamos tal y como somos, con nuestras fortalezas y debilidades. Una de las cosas que he aprendido en mi vida, es que uno debe cultivar el amor por sí mismo. Es difícil tomar amor de un envase vacío, es necesario llenarlo y luego compartirlo con otras personas. No es tarea fácil tener amor propio cuando vivimos en un mundo pragmático y materialista. Pero se puede trabajar en eso. Algunas cosas que me han permitido llenar el envase de amor son enfocarme en mis fortalezas, y en las cosas que puedo lograr, también ser fiel a mí mismo y a mis valores. No temer a tomar riesgos, perseguir mis sueños con pasión y rodearme de personas positivas. No creo que compararse con los demás sea una fórmula ganadora, es mejor enfocarse en nuestras metas y celebrar nuestros éxitos. Espero de que disfruten de mi interpretación de esta semana.

I will never tire of being amazed at how similar our musical tastes are. This girl's success here in Venezuela and on Mtv at the time was quite short-lived, but for those of us who love music, there are a couple of songs that will last a lifetime, and Unwritten is one of them. I would say that I'm surprised how great your trumpet cover sounds, but no, I'm not surprised anymore, I always expect the best from you and you always exceed my expectations 😅 Bravo!!!
