I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

"White Christmas" is a holiday song written by Irving Berlin in 1940. It was first performed by Bing Crosby in the 1942 film "Holiday Inn," The song became an instant classic and has since it has become a beloved Christmas carol and been covered by numerous artists. This is my own version with which I wish you all Merry Christmas this year.
I'm not going to lie, 2022 was a tough year for me, and I'm still not "out of the woods" but I still dare to hope, this time of the year can be a seed for needed change and healing.

It doesn't matter what you celebrate... May it be merry!

As I mentioned in my previous article, for me December is a very important time of the year as it wraps the year and solar circle, not only my birthday, but also with Winter's Solstice (the longest night) the light is reborn in longer days, and I also reflect on the balance of the whole year. The good and bad things and with gratitude and hope the seeds of change for things to be better, for new goals to be fulfilled, for new chances of those things I failed in.

I certainly miss the Christmas of my childhood but ready to wrap the day with a heartwarming movie and a cozy blanket.

So cheers to all and Blessed Yule, Hanukah, Christmas, New Year's Eve, whatever you celebrate, MAY IT BE MERRY! :) Hope you have a great time with yours, and even if you're alone, remember this is a time of HOPE and light returning. And for those who spend it alone, and are going to have a bit of a dysfunctional Christmas (me included ;-) please check my previous post with an original carol made specially for those "not so merry Xmas" that are still meaningful.

The lyrics of "White Christmas" are full of nostalgia and describe a person's longing for an idealized Christmas, a winter wonderland with snow-covered landscapes and warm feelings of home and traditions like writing Christmas cards to the one you love.

The song has a wistful tone has helped make it one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time. And though it is not a traditional song but part of a soundtrack It is often played during the holiday season, and has become an integral part of the Christmas season for many people around the world. This is how future traditional songs are born.

The video features my hens too. These are my "Pitichoos"

As you know I hide my ratties as Easter Eggs in every video. They're no longer with me but as a tribute to them, they're the guests of the channel and I always encourage everyone to locate my "fufunchis" in all the videos. But this one has a little cameo of my hens. I call them "Pitichoos". Justina already made a cameo in my Christmas Special (The Muppet Christmas carol) last year, and in this hopefully heartwarming version of White Christmas they're about to be treated with a gift. I need to make an article so you get to know them all as they have very distinct personalities.
And remember there is no love big or small. :)
