Hi!! 🤗 It's HiveopenMic Week 209. Every week comes with it's own uniqueness and the unique theme for this week is "Love as proposed by our amazing spotlight artist @nathcy.**
My rendition for the week is Colbie Caillat's song titled 'Try'.

Love is a beautiful thing. Love doesn't find fault.
Love is taking someone for who that person is. Love is encouraging strength and helping to work on weaknesses and what have you. Love should strive to bring out the best in you rather than trying to make you be who you are not.

I choose this song for a reason. Most of us are in a situation where we always need validation from people. We try to fit. We do things to please others even at our detriment.
Always trying to feign perfection so that we could be accepted—this is not what love is about.

That is why Caillat in her songs "Try" says we should not try hard to please others. We deserve to be loved the way we are and if there is anything that is odd—it should be corrected and worked on with love—that is Love

I hope we all find a genuine kinda love and also love in return without holding back 💟 💟
