Hace unos dias, explorando en el extraordinario abanico sonoro del siglo pasado, encontré esta joya musical: "Piensa en Mí", compuesta en 1935 por el mexicano Agustín Lara, junto con su hermana María Teresa Lara.

Aunque mucha gente ha cantado esta canción y la ha hecho muy popular, como la española Luz Casal, en realidad fue escrita por ellos.

El genial compositor Agustín Lara, conocido como “El Flaco de Oro”, fue uno de los grandes creadores de boleros y piezas románticas que marcaron la música latinoamericana del pasado siglo.

Sin grandes pretenciones, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi interpretación de este bolero inmortal que ha atravesado generaciones con su fuerza emocional y su melancolía.

En esta ocasión lo presento acompañado de una pista instrumental, buscando resaltar la intensidad de la letra y dejar que la voz sea el puente directo hacia la nostalgia y el sentimiento. Es un tema que invita a recordar, a aferrarse a la memoria del amor, y que sigue siendo tan vigente como cuando fue compuesto.

Este cover es mi humilde manera de rendir homenaje a Agustín Lara y a la tradición del bolero, compartiéndolo con la comunidad de Hive para que juntos intentemos mantener viva esta música que nunca pasará de moda.

This cover is my humble way of paying homage to Agustín Lara and the bolero tradition, sharing it with the Hive community so that together we can try to keep this timeless music alive.
