Evening of piano and poetry concert at the Amauta Family

Yesterday was a wonderful day. One of those that a whirlwind of music envelops your soul. I was invited to a piano concert with the pianist composer Franco Rivero Bueno. In the small concert hall Amauta.

The hall is on the second floor and is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. And when you go up you see the beautiful piano. One wonders how it got there. I tell you that the piano came from Mexico, overcoming customs obstacles. It had to enter its final destination through the space of a window.
I live in a small town where attending a concert is truly rare. Although there is a beautiful theater, there are rarely shows of that level.
The Amauta house is a family of art. It is right at the entrance to paradise. Forgive me if you think I exaggerate, in paradise everything is wellbeing, joy, existence without limits, beautiful colors, music made by angels. The auditorium is welcomed by a floral arrangement of sunflowers at the foot of the staircase that will take us to this beautiful place of concert and poetry.

Before starting the concert program, it was appropriate to meet the hosts: Lorenzo Suarez and Irma, a married couple united by art. He is a poet, researcher, excellent speaker and she is an editor and researcher. Together they have an artistic brotherhood at home. Their daughter Irina and her husband Ivan, a doctor and he a plastic artist, coordinate every month a concert or literary gathering where music and poetry complement each other.

The prelude to the concert was the presentation of singer-songwriter Miriela Mijares, in a kind of counter-reading, she singing to respond to Lorenzo's fiery verses.

Then came Susana Lastra, a virtuoso flutist, interpreting Astor Piazzola's Tango#6, which deserved a standing ovation from the audience.
The flutist was accompanied by her little girl who plays violin and the guitarist Manuel A. Pilotos played Suite Havana by Eduardo Martin and Quién fuera by Silvio Rodríguez.

It was a beautiful moment that prepared the auditorium to receive the concert pianist. He entered the hall dressed in black with a clear smile and greeted with a wave.

Franco Ribero is a true researcher, pianist, composer. He interpreted a varied repertoire with pieces of his own authorship and national and international authors, privileging Ernesto Lecuona.

With a total romance with the piano, the maestro caressed its keys and from it a magical music came out. Then he would play loudly as if he was going to go to war with the instrument. The result was the same, applause for the pianist. He ended thanking for the welcome and inviting the audience to a new concert.

It was a wonderful evening that ended with a toast and a photo session with the artists, the guests and the hosts. The concert was accompanied by the personal exhibition Crónicas en palma by Iván Morales on the walls of the hall. So that nothing was missing.

My musician and singer friend Yaimara Ramirez helped me to understand the concert because she was an expert. I just felt and enjoyed the music. Together we took pictures, interviewed the protagonists and shared with my son Julito.
I would have loved to invite @nanixxx , @jordy0827 , @mayramalu, @moraleskatia and @mipiano because we almost always talk about art, music and poetry.

I was a little embarrassed when my friend told me to sit down at the piano. I have a lot of respect for musicians and I didn't even know how to sit down. But that place is for interacting with everyone and everything. We really enjoyed the concert and the artistic varieties that were presented.
